We’re growing quickly and looking for a Lead Generation Specialist to build and manage a healthy pipeline of potential customers and partners: homeowners, installers, architects, designers, developers, and distributors.

Role Overview

As our Lead Generation Specialist, you will be responsible for finding, engaging, and qualifying new leads for our sales team. You’ll combine research, outbound outreach, and smart use of digital tools to open doors and book meetings. Your work will directly fuel revenue growth and help position ECO SmarTiles as the go-to solution for modern heated flooring.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to define target markets, refine our messaging, and continuously improve conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Research

Identify and build targeted lists of potential customers and partners (B2B and B2C) in key segments:

Homeowners & property managers

Flooring and HVAC installers

Architects & interior designers

Builders, developers, and distributors

Research companies and contacts to understand their needs, projects, and decision-making structure.

Enrich and maintain accurate data in the CRM (company size, contact role, project timelines, etc.).

Outbound Lead Generation

Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone, events/webinars) to generate interest and book qualified meetings.

Write clear, customized outreach messages that speak to pain points like energy efficiency, comfort, and installation simplicity.

Run follow-up cadences to re-engage cold or warm leads.

Inbound Lead Qualification

Respond quickly to inbound leads from the website, social media, ads, and partnerships.

Ask the right questions to determine fit: project size, timeline, budget, use case, and decision-makers.

Score and qualify leads according to agreed criteria, then hand off to Sales with clear notes and context.

Pipeline & Reporting

Keep the CRM up to date with activities, lead status, and next steps.

Track and report on KPIs (number of new leads, meetings booked, conversion rates, etc.).

Recommend optimizations to campaigns and messaging based on data and feedback from Sales.

Collaboration & Feedback

Work closely with Marketing to align targeting, content, and campaigns.

Provide real-time feedback from the market on common objections, feature requests, and competitive insights.

Suggest new channels, tools, and tactics for reaching our ideal customer profiles.

Requirements

Experience

5+ years in a Lead Generation, SDR, BDR, or similar sales/marketing role, preferably in:

Building materials, HVAC, smart home tech, construction, or related industries (nice-to-have but not mandatory).

Proven track record of hitting or exceeding lead and meeting targets.

Skills

Strong prospecting skills and comfort with high-volume outreach.

Excellent written and verbal communication; able to simplify technical concepts into clear benefits.

Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) and outreach tools (e.g., email sequencers, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

Data-driven mindset — comfortable working with metrics, lists, and basic reporting.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage many leads and follow-ups without dropping balls.

Mindset

Self-starter who enjoys building things from the ground up in a fast-moving environment.

Curious and coachable, open to testing new approaches and learning from results.

Genuine interest in sustainability, energy efficiency, or smart home innovation.

Nice-to-Have

Experience generating leads in B2B building/construction channels (architects, designers, developers, installers, distributors).

Familiarity with heated flooring, HVAC, or home renovation markets.

Experience working in an early-stage startup or new market launch.

Basic understanding of marketing automation (landing pages, lead magnets, nurture flows).
