Position Summary
The Lead Generation Specialist plays a crucial role in identifying and engaging companies that align with QCG’s Ideal Customer Profile. This role is specifically focused on connecting with business owners, GMs, and presidents within $5M–$50M organizations who are struggling with operational inefficiencies and need a strategic partner to help them scale.
Success in this role requires understanding the challenges these leaders face, including limited time, a lack of internal technical expertise, and systems that don’t support growth, and positioning QCG as the partner that can solve these problems.
This position is a primary driver of QCG’s growth by supplying the Sales team with qualified, ICP-aligned leads. A performance-based bonus is awarded for leads that convert to new QCG logos.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Research
- Identify companies within the $5M–$50M revenue range that align with QCG’s ICP
- Research owners, GMs, and presidents to understand operational bottlenecks and process gaps
- Build and maintain targeted prospect lists by industry and revenue band
- Uncover indicators that a company needs automation, better workflows, or improved visibility
Outreach & Engagement
- Conduct personalized outreach to decision-makers via
-Deliver QCG’s value proposition in a business-outcome-focused, non-technical way
- Qualify prospects based on pain points, growth trajectory, urgency, and budget
- Schedule highly qualified intro calls for the BDM team
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with Sales Team to refine ICP targeting, qualification criteria, and messaging
- Maintain clean, accurate CRM tracking and lead attribution
- Provide weekly reporting on outreach activity, ICP alignment, and pipeline progress
Strategy for Success
ICP-Driven Targeting
- Center outreach around companies earning $5M–$50M annually
- Prioritize conversations with owners, presidents, and GMs
- Focus on companies showing signs of growth strain, operational chaos, or overreliance on manual tasks
Business-Outcome Messaging
- Emphasize how QCG helps leaders reclaim time, simplify operations, and scale with confidence
- Highlight operational efficiencies, visibility, and streamlined workflows, not technical jargon
Multi-Channel Engagement
- Use a mix of
- Share relevant stories and examples aligned to leadership-level pain points
- Maintain consistent follow-up to build trust and advance interest
Alignment With Sales & Marketing
- Communicate field insights to refine ICP strategy
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on campaigns and targeted industry pushes
- Share feedback on messaging performance to improve outbound success

Lead Quality & ICP Alignment
- Consistently source leads that fit the ICP
- Convert ICP leads into booked discovery calls
- Leads progress through pipeline stages due to accurate qualification

- $500+ bonus per new logo sourced from this role

Compensation & Bonus Structure
Includes base compensation $10.00 hourly + performance bonuses:
Tiered incentive based pay based on number of qualified leads
Optional speed-based bonuses for rapid conversions
