JOB OVERVIEW

Busy tax and accounting firm seeks a Lead Accountant

Duties include:

-Onboard new bookkeeping clients
-Monitor and train bookkeepers on the setup and management of accounting records
-Create and manage chart of accounts and tax links to ensure seamless transfer from QBO to tax software
-Meet with clients monthly to explain their financials, provide insight to areas of concern, and assist them in understanding how business decisions can be improved by using their financials
-Liaison with the tax team to gather data needed for quarterly tax reviews and estimated payments
-Maintain a list of client financial accounts to ensure all items are received for tax return processing
-Maintain client tasks and monitor bookkeepers tasks and billable hours

Candidate will
Be either a CPA or CMA
Have supervisor experience
Excellent english writing and speaking
QBO certified

Position will need to work the majority of their shift between 10am and 6pm Arizona Mountain Time.
