JOB OVERVIEW

FIRM | Remote | Full-time
FIRM is a plaintiff-side personal injury firm looking for an intake specialist. You are the first person a potential client talks to, usually within hours of a wreck, and what happens in that conversation d ---------- whether they hire us or the firm on the billboard down the street.
What you will be doing
Answering new calls, web leads, and referrals quickly. Speed matters more here than almost anything else.
Running the intake interview and getting the facts that matter: how the collision happened, who was at fault, injuries, treatment so far, insurance coverage on both sides, and whether anyone has already contacted them.
Spotting the cases we want and the ones we do not, and escalating the close calls to an attorney instead of guessing.
Getting signed contracts back the same day where possible, and following up on the ones that go quiet.
Entering everything accurately into the case management system and handing off a clean file to the pre-litigation team.
Sending polite declines on cases we are not taking, so nobody is left wondering.
What we are looking for
Fluent English is required. Spanish is a strong plus and it affects pay.
Prior intake experience at a personal injury firm is preferred, but we will talk to people coming from claims, call centers, medical offices, or anywhere else that taught you how to stay warm and organized on the phone at the same time. What we need is someone who can hold a steady conversation with a person who is hurt, scared, or angry, ask uncomfortable questions without sounding like a form, and still get every field filled in.
You should be comfortable with computers and able to learn a cloud case management system. Reliable internet and a quiet place to take calls are not optional.
Compensation
Depends on experience, and bilingual candidates are paid more. Include your minimum requirement with your application.
