We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Labor Compliance Admin & Specialist to ensure our organization adheres to all applicable labor laws, regulations, and compliance standards. This role is critical in maintaining legal and ethical employment practices, minimizing risk, and supporting internal teams with compliance-related processes.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in labor regulations, along with a solid background in auditing and accounting, enabling them to effectively review financial records, ensure accurate reporting, and support compliance audits. They possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage compliance documentation, financial data, and audit processes with minimal supervision.
Compliance Management:
Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor law changes and regulatory updates
Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to labor standards
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation
Prepare reports related to labor compliance, audits, and inspections
Ensure proper classification of employees and contractors
Manage recordkeeping in accordance with legal requirements
Audit & Risk Management:
Assist with internal and external compliance audits
Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
Respond to regulatory inquiries and inspections
Ensure corrective actions are implemented and tracked
Requirements:
Proven experience in labor compliance, payroll or accounting
Experience with compliance audits and documentation management
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
