JOB OVERVIEW

This is not a traditional producer role.

We’re looking for a LIVE Show Producer who understands story, flow, and energy—someone who can shape live conversations, spot meaning in real ---------- nts, and help turn a daily show into something people feel, not just consume.

This role sits at the intersection of story, live production, and post-production.

---

About the Show

Mornings in the Lab is a daily live morning show built around real conversations, curiosity, accountability, and growth.

We’re not chasing clicks.
We’re not manufacturing outrage.
We’re creating a place where people start their day thinking better, feeling sharper, and showing up more honestly.

---

What You’ll Actually Do

You’ll work closely with the host and production team to:

Shape daily show flow, monologues, and conversation arcs
Identify stories inside current events, culture, business, health, and real life
Help frame conversations so they’re human, grounded, and memorable
Guide story direction before, during, and after live shows
Capture, organize, and evolve themes, ideas, and story threads in Notion
Collaborate in real time as the show evolves—sometimes fast, sometimes messy
Edit video clips and segments from live shows for reuse across platforms
Help select ---------- nts worth clipping, expanding, or revisiting

This isn’t about rigid scripts.
It’s about direction, judgment, and feel.

---
Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)

Strong working knowledge of Notion
(You’ll live in it—show prep, story arcs, segment notes, clip ideas, post-show reflections.)

Comfort editing video
(You don’t need to be a cinematic perfectionist—but you should be able to cut, shape, and polish clips that keep emotional truth intact.)

Clear, confident communication in English
(You’ll collaborate daily with hosts and producers. Nuance matters.)

Comfort working in a live, imperfect, high-trust environment
(Things happen in real time. We adapt, not panic.)

---

Who This Is For

You might be a great fit if:

You think in story and flow, not just checklists
You hear a conversation and instantly know what it’s really about
You understand timing, tension, and emotional payoff
You’re curious about people—not just topics
You’re calm under pressure and adaptable when plans shift
You believe live conversation is a creative medium—not a liability

Journalists, producers, editors, podcasters, documentary lovers, recovering creatives, and meaning-makers—you’ll feel at home here.

---

What This Is Not

Not corporate content production
Not SEO blog grinding
Not social media fluff farming
Not a role where polish matters more than truth

---

The Vibe

High trust.
High ownership.
Low ego.
Real conversations.
Room to grow with the show—and the network.

---
How to Apply

Skip the generic resume.

Instead:
Share one story or clip (written, audio, or video) that reflects how you think
If you don’t have a traditional “producer” title but know this is you—say that
Bonus: briefly explain how you use Notion in creative or production workflows
