JOB OVERVIEW

Work Schedule: Full-Time | Graveyard Shift (Eastern Standard or Pacific Standard Time)

Company Overview

We are a U.S.-based firm managing training and contract service programs for clients globally. Our legal division specializes in administrative mediation, case filing, legal and more. We are expanding our team to include a reliable, detail-driven Legal Associate who will support legal documentation, research, and project filings.

Key Responsibilities

Document Review & Accuracy Checking: Proofread legal documents, formal letters, and contracts for accuracy, grammar, and format compliance.
Mediation & Filing Support: Assist in filing formal documentation related to dispute resolution, compliance, and client project needs.
Legal Research: Verify references and citations against publicly available databases or primary source material.
Document Management: Organize, classify, and maintain internal records and project archives.
Proposal & Contract Preparation Support: Assist in formatting and preparing legal and administrative documents based on management guidance.
Administrative Communication: Summarize documents, handle email drafts, and manage internal reminders and legal task trackers.
Calendar & Task Coordination: Help track legal filing deadlines and reminders for internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Juris Doctor
AI/Automation Tools: Experience using ChatGPT or other generative AI tools for research, drafting, or proofreading is a plus.
Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1/C2 preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe PDF, and online case management platforms.

Experience Level: Minimum 2 years in a legal assistant, paralegal, analyst, or legal associate, or more advanced roles preferred, although not required to apply.
Personality Traits: Highly detail-oriented, organized, self-directed, and able to handle confidential data with discretion.

Working Conditions

Remote Setup Required: Stable internet connection, computer, backup power supply, and quiet work environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to work outside the standard schedule occasionally, including weekends or U.S. holidays.
