You will be the guardian of clean workflows, thorough QA, and thoughtful send strategy, ensuring customers receive the right message at the right
What You’ll Do
Email
Build, schedule, and deploy
Set up segmentations, filters, and dynamic content based on campaign goals
Implement A/B tests for subject lines, preview text, send times, and content variations
Maintain a consistent brand voice across all customer-facing messages
Quality Assurance
Conduct thorough QA on every send, including:
Link testing
Image rendering
mobile/desktop formatting
Correct segmentation and suppression logic
Very that all URLs, landing pages, and blog posts are live before deployment
Ensure compliance with
Send Strategy & Optimization
Outline and maintain a send calendar for
Recommend optimal send times and frequencies based on performance data
Monitor deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
Identify opportunities to improve engagement and reduce churn
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure messaging accuracy
Coordinate with content teams to confirm blog posts and landing pages are published before campaigns go live
Support broader marketing initiatives with timely, accurate communication touchpoints
Advanced Segmentation & Personalization
Build and maintain dynamic, behavior-based audience segments in Klaviyo
Analyze customer data from Klaviyo, Shopify, and Triple Whale to identify key lifecycle cohorts
Deliver personalized content and product recommendations based on browsing and purchase behavior
Assist with first-party data strategy and ensure data usability across channels
Push Notifications & Mobile App Messaging
Coordinate messaging, scheduling, and deployment of push notifications via TapCart & PushOwl
Ensure mobile app communications align with retention and engagement goals
Reporting & Insights
Track retention-related KPIs, including churn rate, repeat purchase rate, and engagement metrics
Contribute to performance reports with actionable insights
Experience And Other Requirements
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in retention marketing with a focus on
Expert proficiency with Klaviyo (flows, segments, campaigns required)
Strong understanding of Shopify and its integration
Experience with Attentive or similar SMS platforms (preferred)
Experience managing push notifications (TapCart preferred)
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze and interpret campaign data using dashboards and spreadsheets
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for crafting compelling
Agency experience required
