We are an e-commerce company focused on providing excellent products to our customers, primarily through platforms like Klarna and PayPal. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Klarna & PayPal Dispute Agent to join our team. You will play a key role in managing and resolving payment disputes efficiently to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Responsibilities:
•Review and manage Klarna and PayPal disputes in a timely and professional manner.
Investigate chargebacks and customer claims by analyzing transaction details, policies, and customer history.
Communicate with customers, Klarna, and PayPal to resolve disputes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Prepare and submit documentation to Klarna and PayPal to defend chargeback cases.
Track the status of ongoing disputes and keep relevant records up to date.
Ensure that customer queries related to payment disputes are resolved to maintain customer satisfaction.
Provide clear and concise reports on dispute resolutions and outcomes.
Suggest improvements in internal dispute handling procedures based on experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in handling Klarna and PayPal disputes, chargebacks, and refunds.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce transaction systems and policies for Klarna, PayPal, and other payment processors.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations empathetically.
Ability to analyze transaction data and identify patterns in disputes.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple disputes concurrently.
Proficient in using dispute resolution tools and platforms (Shopify, Freshdesk, PayPal, Klarna dispute portals, etc.).
Problem-solving mindset, capable of identifying issues and providing effective resolutions.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce and consumer protection laws.
A background in customer service is highly beneficial.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Familiarity with dispute resolution strategies to minimize chargeback rates and protect business revenue.
Multilingual capabilities are a plus (particularly Dutch, English, and German).
