JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Kitchen Designer (Part-Time)

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Designer to support our growing team. We specialize in multi-family kitchen and bathroom projects, and as a new company, this role will begin with only a few hours per week with potential to grow over time.

The responsibilities for this position include designing kitchen and bathroom layouts specifically for multi-family and apartment projects, creating accurate 3D renderings for client presentations, preparing detailed fabrication drawings including cabinet shop drawings and stone countertop drawings, and collaborating with our estimating and project teams to ensure designs meet specifications, budgets, and production requirements. The role also requires adapting designs to the unique needs of multi-family construction including standardization, efficiency, and compliance with North American building practices.

The requirements for this position include previous experience designing custom kitchens in North America, a strong understanding of how kitchens are designed and specified for apartment and multi-family developments, and proficiency in at least one 3D design software used for kitchen and bath layouts such as 2020 Design, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or an equivalent program. Applicants must be able to prepare detailed and accurate fabrication drawings for cabinets and countertops, communicate effectively, work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain a high level of attention to detail with an understanding of practical construction considerations.

This is a part-time position with only a few hours per week to start, flexible scheduling, and potential for increased hours as the company grows.
