Job description

We are searching for an attentive and capable Kitchen Cabinet Drafting/ designee Engineer to join our team, and some of the responsibilities and tasks of the position include:

Able to identify possible problems with designs and construction methods and work with designers to resolve
Interpret drawings, specs, and any additional information from designers in order to properly communicate customer expectations to production team and installers
Effective and efficient use of time through a strong understanding and ability utilizing AutoCAD, Sketchup & Mozaik.
Able to interpret key appliances openings & accessory information to produce accurate cabinetry.
Apply understanding of cabinetry production as it relates to shop drawings, material yield, and labor
Ensure that engineered jobs are accurate and complete to enable execution of the designer’s intent at installation of the project.
Be the liason between the designers and our product engineers in the shop.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of proficiency and aptitude with the latest computer technology
Professionalism in dealing with customer issues.
Demonstrable understanding of kitchen design, engineering, and production
Detailed knowledge in the use of Mozaik, Blue Beam, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft applications
Knowledge of custom cabinetry manufacturing, shop machinery and more.
Education and Experience

High School Degree or GED Required
Minimum 5 years of experience within cabinetry/manufacturing industry
Experience with Mozaik would be beneficial
