JOB OVERVIEW

Hello, we're looking for a full-time Junior Video Editor to join our ecommerce agency.

We create paid ads, YouTube content, UGC, and short-form content for ecommerce brands.

This is a junior role for someone who already has a good foundation in video editing and wants to get much better at creating content that actually gets attention and performs.

You don't need years of experience. We care about taste, speed, attention to detail, creativity, reliability, and willingness to learn.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Edit video ads for Meta, Instagram, and TikTok
• Edit UGC and talking-head videos
• Create short-form content for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Help edit longer YouTube content when needed
• Add captions, hooks, cuts, B-roll, graphics, music, and sound effects
• Turn raw footage into engaging videos
• Create different versions of videos for testing
• Make revisions based on feedback
• Organize video files and projects properly

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Basic to intermediate video editing skills
• Experience with Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Good understanding of pacing, hooks, cuts, and storytelling
• Good attention to detail
• Strong written English
• Ability to follow a brief
• Willingness to learn ecommerce advertising and creative strategy
• Reliable communication and consistent work

Bonus if you have experience with:
• Meta ads
• TikTok/Reels/Shorts
• YouTube
• UGC
• Ecommerce brands
• Motion graphics
• AI video tools

PERSONALITY MATTERS

We're looking for someone who is curious, motivated, proactive, and wants to get better.

You don't have to know everything when you start.

We want someone who watches good ads, notices what makes videos interesting, asks questions, takes feedback well, and actively tries to improve.

If you're the type of person who learns a new editing technique because you saw something cool and wanted to figure out how it was made, we'd like that.

WHO THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR

This probably isn't a good fit if you:
• Need constant supervision
• Don't like revisions
• Are careless with details
• Only want to edit the same type of content every day
• Aren't interested in learning about marketing and advertising
• Are looking for short-term freelance work

SCHEDULE
Full-time, 40 hours/week
Monday to Friday
Remote
You'll work with an international team and join 3 team calls per week for updates, feedback, and collaboration.

COMPENSATION
₱30,000/month starting salary

Salary can increase based on performance, quality of work, speed, reliability, and growth within the role.
