We’re hiring a junior video editor for a long-term remote position with our growing automotive channel.
Our primary style references are The Frdi Show and Makeshift Project, followed by TJ Hunt and Cleetus McFarland.
The Work
Each week, you’ll typically edit:
1–2 long-form YouTube videos
7–10 shorts from each long-form video
We provide a Google Drive folder containing:
Video and audio files
Content outlines
Supporting images
Game boards and other assets
You may need to find additional car images, but we’ll help when needed.
Editing Style
We want:
Fast pacing and strong viewer retention
Clear, entertaining storytelling
Clean cuts, music, captions, and audio
Game-show and podcast-style editing
Effects that support the content without becoming distracting
Starting Rates
$25 USD per completed long-form video
$5 USD per completed short
Opportunities for performance-based bonuses
These starting rates are firm for the first 90 days. After 90 days, performance will be reviewed based on quality, reliability, communication, and turnaround time. A rate increase is not guaranteed.

Requirements
Strong English comprehension
Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to edit 4K footage
Understanding of YouTube pacing and viewer retention
Interest in automotive content is preferred
