We are a British publishing company looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Publishing Project Manager to join our growing team.
You will help manage book projects from research → production → quality control → Amazon KDP publication.
This is not a basic copy-and-paste VA role. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the publishing business and eventually take ownership of projects independently.
Responsibilities:
Manage book projects, deadlines and files
Research book topics, competitors and keywords
Coordinate writers/designers and review their work
Use AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini
Proofread and quality-check manuscripts
Assist with Canva, book covers and A+ Content
Prepare and upload books to Amazon KDP
Maintain project trackers and follow SOPs
Identify errors and problems before publication
Help improve our publishing processes
Requirements
1+ years remote/project-management/content experience preferred
Excellent written English
Very strong attention to detail
Comfortable using AI tools and learning new software
Good organisational and communication skills
Able to work independently
Professional and comfortable receiving constructive feedback
Must learn from mistakes and avoid repeatedly making the same mistake
KDP, publishing, editing or proofreading experience is a strong advantage
KDP experience is NOT essential — we can train the right person.
