# Junior Media Buyer
## Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented **Junior Media Buyer** to support the day-to-day execution and management of paid advertising campaigns across our client accounts.
Your main responsibility is to make sure campaigns are launched correctly, budgets are managed according to the scaling strategy, account performance is monitored, and all actions and results are accurately documented.
This is an execution-heavy role for someone who understands paid advertising fundamentals, works quickly, follows systems, and pays strong attention to detail.
## Core Responsibilities
### Ad Launching
* Launch new campaigns, ad sets, and creatives across advertising accounts.
* Follow the campaign structures provided by the Senior Media Buyer or Media Buying Lead.
* Make sure targeting, budgets, URLs, tracking, naming conventions, and creatives are correctly configured before publishing.
* Perform quality-control checks after campaigns go live.
* Ensure new creative batches are launched on schedule.
* Keep advertising accounts clean and properly organized.
### Budget Scaling
* Adjust campaign and ad set budgets according to predefined scaling rules.
* Scale winning campaigns when performance meets the required KPIs.
* Reduce budgets when campaigns fall outside the acceptable performance range.
* Follow daily scaling instructions provided by the Media Buying Lead.
* Avoid unnecessary or emotional budget changes and follow the established system.
### Daily Account Monitoring
Monitor assigned advertising accounts throughout the day and identify:
* Overspending campaigns
* CPA increases
* ROAS drops
* Strong-performing campaigns
* New winning creatives
* Underperforming ads
* Delivery issues
* Tracking problems
* Rejected or restricted ads
* Unusual account activity
Any significant issue should be escalated to the Senior Media Buyer immediately.
### Media Buying Log
Maintain the **Daily Media Buying Log** for every assigned account.
The log should accurately document:
* Daily ad spend
* Revenue
* ROAS
* CPA
* Purchases
* Campaign performance
* Budget increases
* Budget decreases
* Campaigns launched
* Campaigns paused
* New creatives launched
* Winning creatives
* Important observations
* Problems or account issues
* Actions taken during the day
Every major change made inside an advertising account should be documented.
### Creative Performance Tracking
* Monitor the performance of newly launched creatives.
* Identify creatives that are generating strong spend and conversions.
* Track CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPC, CPM, spend, purchases, and other relevant metrics.
* Flag potential winning creatives to the Creative Strategist and Senior Media Buyer.
* Identify creatives that should potentially be paused or replaced.
* Make sure creative testing campaigns remain organized.
### Account Organization
Maintain clean account structures and naming conventions across:
* Campaigns
* Ad sets
* Ads
* Creative testing
* Scaling campaigns
Campaign structures should always be understandable by another team member without requiring additional explanation.
### Daily Reporting
At the end of each working day, provide a short update covering:
* What was launched
* What was scaled
* What was reduced or paused
* Major performance changes
* Winning campaigns or creatives
* Problems encountered
* Anything requiring senior attention
* Priorities for the following day
## Performance Metrics
Performance will primarily be measured based on:
* Accuracy of campaign launches
* Speed of execution
* Accuracy of the Media Buying Log
* Following scaling rules correctly
* Campaign organization
* Identification of performance issues
* Communication speed
* Ability to follow SOPs
* Number of execution mistakes
* Reliability and consistency
## Requirements
The ideal candidate:
* Has a basic understanding of Meta Ads and paid social advertising.
* Understands metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CPM, CTR, CPC, CVR, and MER.
* Is comfortable working with advertising budgets.
* Is highly detail-oriented.
* Can follow instructions and SOPs accurately.
* Works quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
* Is comfortable working with spreadsheets and reporting systems.
* Communicates immediately when something appears wrong.
* Can manage multiple advertising accounts simultaneously.
* Takes ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Previous experience with e-commerce advertising is highly preferred.
## What This Role Is Not
This is not initially a senior strategy position.
You will not be expected to independently create the entire media-buying strategy.
Your primary responsibility is **execution**:
**Launch correctly.
Monitor performance.
Scale according to the system.
Maintain the log.
Report problems quickly.**
As your performance and understanding improve, you will gradually receive more responsibility over campaign optimization and media-buying decisions.
## Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
* Hungry to learn
* Extremely reliable
* Organized
* Numbers-driven
* Fast
* Detail-oriented
* Coachable
* Comfortable working under pressure
We value consistency and execution over unnecessary complexity.
The goal is to develop the Junior Media Buyer into someone who can eventually take full ownership of advertising accounts.
