JOB OVERVIEW

JOB OVERVIEW

Full-time | Remote (Philippines) | US$240 per week | Mon–Fri, Australian hours

Good in Photoshop? Come and retouch for two Australian fashion labels.

We're the small ecommerce team behind two established Australian womenswear brands. We're hiring a junior marketing assistant and the heart of this job is retouching.

You'll take our campaign and product imagery from raw to publish-ready, then help get it live across our ads, social and email. The retouching is the part we need you to already be good at. Everything else, we'll teach you.

All software is provided on our accounts: Photoshop, Affinity, CapCut Pro and Canva. You don't need your own subscriptions.

THE ROLE

Pay: US$240 per week, paid weekly
Arrangement: Full-time remote contractor, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Mon–Fri, Australian business hours — roughly 7am–4pm Philippine time (an hour earlier during Australian daylight saving)
Location: Remote, Philippines
Start: As soon as practical

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Retouching — the core of the role

Retouch fashion and product imagery across both brands: garments, model skin, backgrounds
Clean up creases, stray threads, unwanted elements and background distractions
Colour, lighting and general image corrections so everything sits consistently on-brand
File finished imagery into the right folders and track it through Edited → Uploaded → Approved

Ad & social uploads — we'll train you

Upload supplied ad creative into Meta, Pinterest and TikTok Ads Manager
Check creative, links, formatting and cropping before anything goes live
Upload and schedule organic content to Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, including Stories and grid
Check live and automated posts came through correctly, and fix anything that didn't

Trade reporting we'll train you

Pull revenue, spend and ROAS from Shopify and the ad platforms
Input it into our weekly trade documents in Google Sheets, with WoW and YoY comparisons
Check your figures before they go to the team

Video, email & general support — we'll train you

Short-form video edits in CapCut Pro for organic and paid
Help build and schedule weekly EDMs in Klaviyo, and refresh seasonal automated flows
Assist with influencer outreach and day-to-day campaign tasks

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Competent, confident retouching. You can take a garment and a model's face to a standard a fashion brand will publish. Not just cropping, resizing and background removal — actual retouching. This is the one skill we can't teach you on the job.
Photoshop as your main tool. Affinity is fine too. Canva is useful for other things but isn't what this role runs on.
Work we can look at. Client work is ideal, but strong personal or study projects absolutely count — we're judging the standard of the images, not the logo attached to them. Before-and-afters are a bonus, not a requirement.
Good written and spoken English
Real attention to detail, and a methodical way with files
A reliable internet connection and a computer that runs Photoshop comfortably
Available Mon–Fri during Australian business hours

NICE TO HAVE — GENUINELY NOT REQUIRED

Any exposure to Meta / Pinterest / TikTok Ads Manager, Shopify, Klaviyo, CapCut, Google Sheets or Affinity. Mention what you've touched. If the answer is "none of it," that's fine — tell us about your retouching instead.

WHY THIS ONE

You'll be the person who touches every image both brands publish
All software provided on our accounts you don't need your own Adobe subscription
You work directly with the Marketing Executive and ecommerce team, not through a ticket queue
Paid weekly, on time, every week
Pay reviewed at six months based on what you can do

HOW TO APPLY

Keep it short. We'd rather see your work than read an essay.

Your CV, and a link to 23 retouching examples you're proud of.
In a few sentences: how do you approach retouching a garment and a model's skin? Which tool, and why?
Confirm you're comfortable with US$240/week and Australian hours, plus your earliest start date.

Shortlisted applicants get a paid test. One image, two hours, paid either way. It's the quickest way for us to see how you work and for you to see the standard we hold.
