Rice Rice Baby is an exciting, high-energy Asian-inspired food brand based in Nashville, Tennessee. We operate a popular food truck, cater private events/festivals, and are opening our first Ghost Kitchen in Midtown Nashville at the end of August!
We’re not looking for someone to simply post static graphics—we’re looking for a creative short-form video editor and growth manager who wants to help build a brand that people know, trust, and crave.

How We Work Together (The Workflow)
You do not need to film on-site!
* Our On-Site Team: Films raw, high-quality phone videos daily (cooking, sizzling food, order assembly, customer reactions) and dumps them into a shared Google Drive/Dropbox.
* Your Role: You take those raw clips, edit them into high-converting TikToks, Reels, and Shorts, write engaging captions, schedule posts, and manage our growth strategy.
Position Overview
* Location: Remote (Philippines)
* Employment: Full-Time (40 hours/week, Long-Term)
* Working Hours: Flexible, with 2–3 hours of daily overlap with US Central Time (Nashville, TN) for quick check-ins and communication.

Our 90-Day Goals
Together, over the next 90 days, we will:
* Build a loyal, engaged local Nashville audience.
* Create massive viral excitement leading up to our Ghost Kitchen opening.
* Grow our social media following organically through high-quality video.
* Drive online delivery orders from Day 1 of our launch.
* Increase food truck traffic and private catering bookings.
* Establish Rice Rice Baby as one of Nashville’s go-to food brands.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Video Editing & Content Creation: Cut raw phone clips into fast-paced, engaging TikToks, Reels, and YouTube Shorts using CapCut or Premiere Pro (trending audio, dynamic captions, text overlays, sound effects).
* Strategy & Scheduling: Maintain a weekly content calendar focused on food truck schedules, catering, and the Ghost Kitchen launch.
* Daily Stories: Create 4–6 interactive daily Stories (behind-the-scenes prep, truck location pins, countdown timers, polls).
* Community Engagement: Build community by responding to comments and direct messages promptly in an authentic brand voice.
* Trend Research: Stay on top of viral TikTok/Reel food trends and adapt them quickly for our brand.
* Local Outreach: Use our pre-written templates to DM local Nashville food influencers, Vanderbilt students, hospital staff, and apartment concierges.
2-Week Paid Trial Period & Daily Expectations
To ensure we are the right long-term fit for each other, all new hires begin with a 2-week paid trial period.
During the trial, you will maintain a daily volume of 8–10 content touchpoints across platforms:
* 2 Main Short-Form Videos: High-quality edits posted to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
* 2 Repurposed Cross-Posts: Adapting main clips for
* 4–6 Interactive Stories: Real-time updates, location drops, engagement polls, and behind-the-scenes clips.
* Daily Community Management: Replying to comments, answering menu DMs, and engaging with local Nashville accounts.
Trial Benchmarks
* Day 5: Content calendar active, smooth footage download/upload workflow established, daily posting consistent, clear communication.
* Day 10: Noticeable boost in video edit quality, audio selection, and snappy pacing. Trend-based content being published regularly.
* Day 14 (Trial Completion): Flawless execution of content workflow, proven reliability, growing engagement, and a clear 30-day marketing plan submitted for our Midtown Ghost Kitchen grand opening.
Skills & Experience We Look For
* Proven experience editing short-form videos (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva).
* Deep understanding of TikTok, YouTube and Instagram Reel algorithms and viral food trends.
* Experience in restaurant, food truck, hospitality, or local business social media marketing.
* Excellent, natural English writing skills for casual and witty captions.
* Self-starter mindset—you bring ideas to the table without waiting to be told what to do.
Bonus Skills:
* Basic Meta Ads
* Google Business Profile management
* Local influencer outreach experience

* Consistent, daily video publishing across all core channels.
* Steady organic follower and engagement growth in the local Nashville area.
* High-performing video edits that generate local buzz.
* Increased website traffic, catering inquiries, and a high volume of Day 1 delivery orders for our Ghost Kitchen.

Compensation & Terms
* Monthly Salary: $500 – $800 USD / month (or PHP equivalent, based on experience & video editing skills).
* Trial Terms: First 14 days are a paid evaluation period. Successful completion leads directly to a permanent full-time role.
