JOB OVERVIEW

I'm the founder of a story-driven accessories brand based in the US. We make intentional pieces — brooches, pins, and wearable art that communicate something. Think symbolic systems, cultural references, hidden messages. Not your typical jewelry brand.

I need a designer who can take a creative brief and come back with visual concepts 2-3 times per week — sketches, Procreate drafts, reference boards, whatever best communicates the idea. You're not designing final production files. You're helping me explore directions fast so I can react, push back, and refine until something is worth making.

What the work looks like
- I'll send you a brief. Could be a rough concept like: "African symbols/West African visual language turned into wearable brooch pins." You come back with 4-6 visual directions. We go back and forth. That's the loop.

You're a fit if:

- You have a portfolio showing accessories, jewelry, or wearable product sketches
- You're comfortable working from cultural/conceptual briefs, not just aesthetic ones
- You can use Procreate, Canva, or any sketch tool and deliver clean visual concepts
- You're fast and not precious about iteration — I give real feedback and expect you to move with it
- You're curious about symbolism, cultural design languages, and storytelling through objects

Hours: 5-10 hrs/week to start, with room to grow
