Scriveiner is looking for a detail-driven Inventory Assistant to help keep our global stock operations accurate, organised, and moving.

This is a hands-on operations role for someone who has already worked with inventory records, order fulfilment, stock reconciliations, and ideally Amazon Seller Central/FBA. You will work closely with our Inventory Manager and third-party logistics partners to make sure stock records are reliable, Amazon shipments are handled correctly, and discrepancies are caught before they affect customers or sales.

BEFORE YOU APPLY

This role is best suited to you if you have:

- Hands-on experience in inventory, warehousing, fulfilment, e-commerce operations, or retail operations
- Experience using Amazon Seller Central, including FBA shipment creation or management
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for tracking, reconciliations, and reporting
- Experience working with stock records, order processes, and discrepancies
- A highly organised, proactive working style—you flag issues early and follow them through

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Keep inventory records accurate
- Maintain and reconcile inventory data across internal stock records, dashboards, and e-commerce platforms
- Carry out cycle counts, spot checks, and stocktakes
- Investigate stock discrepancies, variances, and shrinkage, and help resolve them promptly
- Monitor stock levels and flag low-stock or overstock risks to the Inventory Manager
- Update stock availability on wholesale platforms, including Faire and Turis
- Support fulfilment and 3PL operations
- Import and process orders in our 3PL partners’ systems
- Check for unfulfilled, incomplete, or problematic orders and follow these through
- Coordinate retail and wholesale orders for accurate, timely dispatch
- Process incoming supplier and freight shipments, checking quantities, quality, and delivery discrepancies
- Manage Amazon FBA operations
- Create, verify, track, and update Amazon FBA shipments in Seller Central
- Maintain accurate shipment-status records
- Support FBA reimbursement claims for missing or lost units
- Keep dispute and compliance records organised and up to date
- Provide reliable reporting
- Prepare the weekly OD report and maintain supporting dispute records
- Produce inventory and variance reports using Excel/Google Sheets and Power BI
- Support stock planning, forecasting, and buying decisions with accurate data
- Take on other operational tasks that support the Inventory and Operations teams

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential
- Previous experience in inventory, warehousing, fulfilment, retail operations, or e-commerce operations
- Practical Amazon Seller Central and FBA experience
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence investigating data discrepancies and following issues through to resolution
- Clear, proactive communication with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners

Desirable
- Experience with 3PL fulfilment systems or workflows
- Experience with Faire, Turis, a WMS, ERP, Power BI, or similar reporting tools
- Experience with FBA reimbursements, Amazon compliance disputes, or inbound shipment management
- Knowledge of FIFO and inventory-control best practices
- Experience using AI tools to improve reporting or operational workflows
