Start Immediately
We are looking for an experienced International SEO & Strategic Link Building Specialist to support our organic growth across multiple international markets.
This is not a basic backlink-building role.
We are not interested in mass-produced backlinks, low-quality guest posts, link farms, PBNs, irrelevant websites, or simply chasing high DR/DA metrics.
We are looking for someone who understands that effective link building starts with deep keyword research, semantic relevance, topical authority, search intent and a strong understanding of how each backlink contributes to the overall SEO architecture of a website.
Markets
Our current priority markets include:
France
United States
United Kingdom
Germany
Netherlands
Poland
Additional markets may be added over time.
Your Mission
Your role will be to determine which backlinks we should build, from which semantic environments, with which content, and toward which pages of our websites.
We will provide you with our existing keyword targets as well as SEMrush exports and data required for your research.
We expect you to go significantly deeper than simply taking our target keyword and writing a guest post around that exact keyword.
For example, if we are targeting a specific commercial keyword internally, we want you to research its entire semantic and lexical ecosystem: related topics, adjacent search intents, long-tail opportunities, comparisons, questions, informational queries and relevant content clusters.
The objective is to create a backlink profile that strengthens our websites' topical authority and rankings, rather than simply increasing the number of referring domains.
Key Responsibilities
SEO & Semantic Research
Analyze the keyword lists and SEMrush exports provided by our team
Conduct in-depth keyword and SERP research for each target market
Identify relevant lexical fields, semantic relationships and topic clusters
Analyze search volumes, keyword difficulty, intent and ranking opportunities
Identify supporting topics that can strengthen our priority commercial keywords
Understand the relationship between our internal SEO strategy and external link-building strategy
Determine which pages should receive backlinks and from which types of content
Adapt the strategy to the search behavior and language of each country rather than simply translating the same strategy
Backlink Strategy & Prospecting
Identify high-quality and genuinely relevant backlink opportunities
Research websites within the appropriate topical and semantic environments
Evaluate potential referring domains based on relevance, authority, traffic, content quality and backlink profile
Avoid spammy websites, link farms, PBNs and sites created primarily for selling backlinks
Develop appropriate anchor-text strategies
Maintain a natural and diversified backlink profile
Track outreach, placements, anchors, target URLs and results
Content Strategy & Creation
Determine the most relevant article topics for each backlink opportunity
Select the primary and secondary keywords for each article
Create detailed SEO content briefs
Write or produce high-quality articles when required
Ensure each article provides genuine value and is semantically relevant to the page receiving the backlink
Adapt content to the language, culture and search intent of each market
AI Usage
AI tools are completely acceptable.
We actively use AI ourselves and have no issue with AI-assisted research or content creation.
However, AI should be used as a tool, not as a replacement for SEO expertise and judgment.
You will be expected to follow our internal processes and quality standards. Every article must be researched, structured, reviewed and optimized before publication.
We do not want generic, obviously AI-generated SEO content produced at scale.
What We Are NOT Looking For
We are not looking for someone whose strategy consists of:
“Give me your keyword → I'll buy 20 backlinks with that anchor.”
We can do that ourselves.
We are looking for someone who can explain:
Target keyword → search intent → semantic universe → content cluster → backlink topic → referring domain → anchor → target page → expected SEO contribution.
You should be able to justify why a backlink makes sense, not simply provide a list of websites with DR scores.
Experience working across several languages or international markets is a major advantage.
Project Structure
This is an immediate project with the possibility of becoming a recurring, long-term collaboration.
