JOB OVERVIEW

KhanTrix is an Australian business group based in Melbourne, operating across three divisions: business consulting, temperature-controlled logistics, and security and facilities management. We also run a managed finance service for hospitality and food businesses across Australia.

We already have a small offshore team and we are growing. This is a long-term role with a stable employer, not a short project.

The Role

You will handle end-to-end bookkeeping and management accounting for a portfolio of Australian clients, working directly with our Finance Director (Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent) and our Managing Director.

Your day to day:

Process accounts payable and receivable, including supplier bill entry and payment runs
Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations across multiple entities
Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
Produce monthly management reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow commentary
Prepare BAS and IAS working papers for review
Process payroll and reconcile payroll clearing accounts
Maintain the chart of accounts and keep client files audit ready
Support the rollout of Odoo Accounting across client businesses

What We Need From You

Essential:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of full-function accounting or bookkeeping experience
Hands-on experience with Xero (required) and strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Prior experience working with Australian clients and familiarity with GST, BAS, and Single Touch Payroll
Strong written and spoken English
Reliable internet (minimum 20 Mbps), a backup connection, and a quiet work-from-home setup

Highly regarded:

CPA or in progress
Odoo Accounting experience
Multi-entity or multi-company reporting experience
Exposure to hospitality, food manufacturing, or transport and logistics clients
