About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer to help design and execute high-impact interiors for our Airbnb units. This role is less about architectural changes and more about furniture/layout, finishes, styling, and guest experience – turning empty spaces into scroll-stopping listings that photograph well and feel amazing in person.
You’ll be responsible for concept design, 3D modeling, supplier coordination, and project management, including detailed tracking of all items, costs, and delivery timelines
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Visualization
- Develop interior design concepts tailored to short-term rental guests (comfort, durability, and “wow factor” for photos).
- Create 3D models and produce high-quality renders to show final look & feel.
- Plan furniture layouts that balance aesthetics, functionality, and guest flow.
2. Supplier & Product Coordination
- Source furniture, decor, lighting, rugs, and accessories that match the approved design and budget.
Prepare detailed product schedules including:
- Item name & description
- Supplier / link
- Unit cost & total cost
- Estimated delivery timeframes
- Suggest alternative options when items are out of stock or over budget.
3. Project Management
- Create a clear implementation plan for each unit: what gets ordered, in what sequence, and expected install date.
- Coordinate with our internal team (and/or local installers) to ensure the design is executed correctly.
- Track orders, deliveries, and any delays; update the team proactively.
Airbnb-Focused Design
- Design with photos and guest experience in mind: strong focal points, cohesive color schemes, and durable finishes.
- Optimize spaces for different guest types (business travelers, couples, small groups, etc. depending on the unit).
- Ensure all selections are practical for high turnover: easy to clean, maintain, and replace if needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in interior design, ideally with short-term rentals, hospitality, or residential projects.
- Strong proficiency with SketchUp and V-Ray (portfolio with 3D visuals required).
- Demonstrated experience in furniture and decor sourcing (online vendors, retail, or trade).
- Comfortable working in spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel) to build:
- Itemized shopping lists
- Budgets
- Delivery timelines
- Excellent attention to detail: able to document exact items, quantities, prices, and delivery windows.
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness; able to work remotely with clear updates and documentation.
- No architectural/structural work required, but a solid sense of scale, proportion, and layout is essential.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience designing Airbnb / short-term rental spaces specifically.
- Familiarity with photography-friendly design (what looks great in listing photos).
- Understanding of durable, guest-proof materials and finishes.
-Experience collaborating with installers, stagers, or handyman teams remotely.
What We Provide
- Overall brand direction and desired “look & feel” for the units.
- Floor plans, measurements, and photos of each property.
- Budget ranges per unit and target guest profile.
- Feedback on design iterations and final approval.
How to Apply
Please include:
- A short introduction about your design background and experience with hospitality or Airbnb-style projects.
- A portfolio or link showcasing:
- At least 3–5 interior projects (3D renders and/or real photos).
- Any SketchUp + V-Ray work you’ve done.

2-bedroom unit
