Interior Design Coordinator (Full-Time, Remote)
Hours: Full-Time | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
About the Role
We are a dynamic and fast-growing company looking for a proactive and versatile Interior Design Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented design professional who combines creative capability with strong coordination instincts.
You'll support the studio across interior design and FF&E procurement, helping projects run smoothly from concept through installation, with project administration alongside it. You'll work directly with the principals with real room to grow with the studio.
What You'll Do
Design Support
Assist with the development of interior design concepts, presentations, and design documentation
Prepare mood boards, finish palettes, reference dockets, and client presentation materials
Support re-specs, material and finish selections, and ad hoc design exercises as projects demand
Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders throughout the design process
FF&E Procurement & Project Coordination
Source furniture, lighting, fixtures, accessories, and finishes
Prepare and maintain FF&E schedules, specifications, and procurement documentation
Track lead times, production schedules, and deliveries, and coordinate installation dates with clients
Resolve procurement, logistics, and vendor issues proactively, keeping records and budgets accurate
Invoicing & Administration
Send client invoices and follow up professionally on outstanding payments
Assist with expense tracking, financial documentation, and project cost reporting
Maintain organized digital project files and administrative documentation
Provide occasional support with the studio's website and social media
Tools You'll Use
AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit — training provided on the studio's tools
Excel / Google Sheets
QuickBooks — a plus
What We're Looking For
Hands-on experience in an interior design or architecture studio, or in a role assisting designers
A portfolio demonstrating residential or hospitality work
Has personally handled FF&E sourcing and specification and can walk through your own process on a project
Familiarity with U.S. furniture, lighting, and finish brands and vendors, or experience sourcing from them
Fluent written and spoken English with confident, professional client and vendor communication
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple simultaneous projects
Independent and self-directed: can take a task and run with it, bringing solutions rather than questions
Calm, focused, and strong on time management with the discipline to keep several projects on track at once
What We Offer
Full-time, long-term role
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Paid U.S. holiday leaves
Medical stipend after 3 months
Opportunity to grow into expanded responsibility over time
Clear opportunities for growth and professional development
Collaborative, supportive, and people-first work environment
