Job Title: Insurance Supplement Specialist (Roofing/Restoration) — Remote, Philippines-Based

Townsend Consulting is a growing insurance supplement company that partners with multiple home improvement and restoration companies (roofing, siding, and related exterior trades) to help them recover full, accurate compensation on insurance claims. We act as the supplement experts on behalf of our client companies, ensuring every job is properly scoped and paid. We're looking for a detail-oriented Supplement Specialist to join our remote team.

What You'll Do:

* Review insurance claim documentation, adjuster scopes, and Xactimate estimates across multiple client accounts to identify missing, underpaid, or omitted line items
* Analyze roof inspection photos, measurement reports, and carrier scopes to catch discrepancies between what was approved and what the job actually requires
* Prepare detailed, accurate supplemental estimates based on current construction standards, materials pricing, and local building code requirements
* Write and submit supplement requests to insurance carriers to recover additional funds for the full scope of work
* Negotiate directly with insurance adjusters to get supplements approved, using code requirements or manufacturer specs as justification
* Track and follow up on all pending supplement submissions until resolution/collection, across all assigned client accounts
* Maintain organized, up-to-date claim files (photos, measurements, correspondence, estimate revisions) for each client company
* Communicate regularly with our client companies' sales reps and production teams to keep their jobs moving without delays from pending supplements
* Stay current on carrier-specific guidelines, building codes, and industry pricing trends

Daily Tasks:

* Review active claims across assigned client accounts and flag ones needing supplement action
* Compare adjuster estimates line-by-line against actual job scope and photos
* Draft and submit supplement requests with supporting documentation
* Follow up on prior submissions awaiting carrier response
* Communicate with adjusters via phone/email to negotiate or clarify items
* Update internal tracking system/CRM with claim status for each client account
* Coordinate with client companies' sales/production staff on stalled claims

What We're Looking For:

* Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience specifically in insurance supplement writing/negotiation for roofing or restoration claims — required (general construction or adjacent roles will not be considered without this specific experience)
* Familiarity with Xactimate (required); Symbility experience a plus
* Solid understanding of general construction standards and residential building codes
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple client accounts/claims simultaneously
* Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment

Schedule: M-F 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Compensation: $5–$8 USD/hour, based on experience level + Commission

Job Type: Seasonal (potential to transition to year-round based on performance and business needs), Remote, Independent Contractor
