We are seeking an experienced Insurance Accounting Specialist to support the accounting and financial servicing side of a Property & Casualty insurance operation. This role is ideal for someone who understands insurance accounting workflows and is comfortable working within an agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle accounting functions related to Property & Casualty policies
Process and reconcile premiums, commissions, agency bill, and direct bill transactions
Manage accounts receivable and payable related to P&C policies
Reconcile carrier statements and resolve discrepancies
Support policy renewals from an accounting and billing perspective
Work closely with servicing and operations teams to ensure accurate financial records
Maintain accurate and timely records in Applied Epic AMS
Assist with audits, reports, and month-end close as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance accounting
Hands-on experience using Applied Epic AMS (required)
Strong understanding of insurance accounting processes (agency bill vs. direct bill, commissions, trust accounting, etc.)
Fluent in English (spoken and written) — required
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines accurately
