About the Company
Born from Flame (BFF) is a Canadian culinary brand built around a cooking competition, a West African flame-forward restaurant, and an online store. We are building from the ground up and need someone to help grow our Instagram presence from zero.

What You Will Do
This is a growth and engagement role — not a content creation role. We provide the images and videos. Your job is to grow the account, engage the community, and keep it warm every day.

Follow 50+ targeted Canadian Instagram accounts per day, starting with Ontario — food creators, home cooks, culinary students, West African diaspora pages, and everyday Ontarians
After each follow, send a short personal DM introducing Born from Flame and what we are building — make it enticing enough that they follow back
When we send you content, write a caption in the BFF voice, send it to us on Slack for review, then post it (content is not provided every day)
Reply to every comment and DM on the account daily
Submit a short weekly report — followers gained, DM response rate, top post


What You Will NOT Do

Create or shoot content (we handle that)
Run paid ads
Post every single day (only when content is provided)


Growth Targets

50+ new followers per day (minimum)
250+ per week
1,000+ per month


What We Need

Active on Instagram and knows how it works
Strong caption writing — short, punchy, on-brand
Shows up every day without being chased
Genuine interest in food or culture
Available on episode release days


Compensation

$2 CAD per hour
4 hours per day, 5 days per week
$40 CAD per week / $160 CAD per month
Part-time contract, remote
