# Influencer & Social Media Manager
Gear is looking for an Influencer & Social Media Manager to own our influencer and social media performance.
This is not a role for someone who needs a manager to tell them what to do next.
We’re looking for someone who can study the market, understand the audience, find the right creators, build the strategy, manage execution, and improve results.
## What You'll Own
* Develop and own the influencer and social media strategy
* Research competitors, trends, creators, and content opportunities
* Find, qualify, and reach out to influencers
* Manage influencer relationships and collaborations
* Create clear content briefs for creators
* Plan and manage social media content
* Track campaign and social performance
* Identify what is working, what isn’t, and what to change
* Test new creators, content angles, and campaigns
* Report on results and recommend next actions
## What We're Looking For
* Proven experience managing influencer or creator marketing
* Strong social media strategy and management experience
* Experience sourcing, evaluating, and managing influencers
* Able to create effective content briefs
* Strong understanding of social and influencer performance metrics
* Comfortable using data to improve results
* Strong competitor and market research skills
* Able to work independently and take full ownership of the function
* Strong written communication and organization
You’ll do well in this role if you’re someone who sees a goal, figures out the plan, executes it, and owns the result.
