JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and talented designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coming up with patterns for textile products and assisting in other projects such as packaging and illustrations for baby/maternity industry. The designer will be expected to work collaboratively with our team to produce high-quality designs and assist in other design projects as and when required.

Responsibilities:
• Concept & Trend Innovation: Conduct research into baby/children's market trends, then conceptualize and develop innovative print themes, color palettes, and design directions that resonate with our audience and align with KeaBabies' brand, leveraging • AI tools for accelerated ideation and visual exploration.
• Original Illustration: Create engaging, unique, and high-quality illustrations specifically tailored for KeaBabies' range of baby and children's products, such as swaddles, blankets, and bibs.
• Print & Pattern Design: Design seamless repeat patterns and distinctive print layouts for diverse product applications, ensuring all designs are optimized for manufacturing processes.
• Packaging Design: Assist in developing compelling and functional packaging designs that are on-brand, protect the product, and significantly enhance the overall customer experience.
• Production Readiness & Quality: Ensure all designs are production-ready and technically sound, meeting high-quality standards. This includes preparing accurate files and maintaining organized project records.
• Market Insight & Adaptation: Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor designs, and consumer preferences within the baby/children's market to directly inform and elevate design decisions.

Job Details:
• Salary: USD 450 to USD 600 per month
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (GMT+8)
• Working Days: Monday to Friday

Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field.
• Portfolio: A strong, diverse, and professional online portfolio is mandatory. It must clearly showcase exceptional illustration skills, a deep understanding of color theory, and the ability to create seamless repeat patterns. Examples relevant to the baby and children's product industry are highly preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of current design trends, consumer preferences, and aesthetic styles within the baby and children's product market.
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in digital design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Procreate, along with other relevant illustration and design tools. Familiarity with and willingness to explore AI-powered design tools is highly valued.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent project management and communication skills. You should have a proven ability to work collaboratively with the team, clearly articulating design concepts and feedback.
• Adaptability: A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high-quality output. This role requires you to be highly self-motivated, organized, and disciplined to manage projects and meet deadlines independently.
