Summary:
**MUST HAVE WORKDAY EXPERIENCE ALONG WITH SUPPORTING US BASED COMPANIES IN EITHER CALIFORNA OR WASHINGTON STATE**
Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Generalist will support
multiple healthcare entities across various HR functions. Responsibilities include aiding the HR team in
developing and administering programs, procedures, projects, and processes throughout the
organization’s divisions, spanning the entire life cycle from recruitment and onboarding to development,
retention, and offboarding. This position will have the option to be mostly remote (work from home);
however, this position will require in-person attendance for new employee orientation, meetings,
trainings, or other collaborative activities as needed.
Essential functions & responsibilities
• Support the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company, improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Administer and assist with the rollout of new initiatives and projects across the spectrum of human resources and improvement of existing ones.
• Assist in various projects, initiatives, and processes, encompassing but not limited to annual audits, new product launches, job descriptions, performance reviews, and initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of administrative human resources tasks, including but not limited to maintaining employee files, managing correspondence, generating documents, overseeing systems, and uphold meticulous records
of employee information.
• Input new hire information into workday facilitate payroll and HR functions.
• Familiarize oneself with the union contract and personnel policies and procedures.
• Manage benefits administration duties, encompassing initial enrollment, change reporting, invoice approval, and communication of benefits information to employees.
• Execute position, personal, and wage changes for employees ensuring accuracy into Workday and other systems.
• Provide guidance and assistance to employees and management on various HR-related matters, including leaves compensation, and issue resolution, under the guidance of the Human Resources Director.
• Execute and support HR processes promptly, including leave administration, EEO-1 reporting, separations, L&I/Workers compensation, and unemployment claims.
• Handle sensitive employee matters with empathy, tact, and diplomacy. Assist in job postings, recruitment efforts, and the hiring/onboarding process for new employees.
• Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
• Stay informed about current trends, best practices, regulatory updates, and emerging
technologies in human resources talent management, and employment law.
