About the Role
Gather Group operates two premium buyers agency brands in Brisbane, Australia: Hunter Gather (owner-occupiers properties) and GATHER (investment properties). We're looking for a HubSpot specialist to own our marketing automation, CRM workflows, and lead nurturing systems.
This role is critical to our growth. You'll ensure every lead is captured, nurtured, and followed up systematically. You'll work directly with our CEO, marketing team, and sales team to improve conversion at every stage of the funnel.
What You'll Own
HubSpot CRM Management
- Maintain clean, accurate contact and deal records
- Build and manage lead scoring and lifecycle stages
- Create dashboards and reports for marketing and sales performance
- Troubleshoot data issues and maintain integrations
Marketing Automation & Workflows
- Build and optimise automated
- Create workflows for lead assignment, follow-up reminders, and internal notifications
- Set up triggered campaigns based on behaviour (website visits,
- A/B test subject lines, send times, and content to improve performance
Lead Nurture Sequences
- Design and build nurture sequences for different buyer personas (investors vs owner-occupiers)
- Create re-engagement campaigns for cold leads
- Build post-consultation follow-up sequences
- Monitor sequence performance and recommend improvements
Landing Pages & Forms
- Build and maintain landing pages in HubSpot
- Create and optimise forms for lead capture
- Ensure proper tracking and attribution is in place
Reporting & Optimisation
- Weekly reporting on
- Identify bottlenecks in the funnel and recommend fixes
- Stay current on HubSpot features and best practices
Requirements
- 2+ years hands-on experience with HubSpot (Marketing Hub and CRM required; Sales Hub a bonus)
- Proven experience building workflows, sequences, and automated campaigns
- Strong understanding of
- Comfortable with data: can pull reports, identify trends, and make recommendations
- Excellent written English (you'll be writing
- Available for overlap with Australian business hours (minimum 3-4 hours daily, AEST)
- Self-directed: you can take a brief and execute without constant supervision
Bonus (Not Required)
- HubSpot certification(s)
- Experience in real estate, property, or professional services
- Familiarity with Zapier or other integration tools
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva) for
What Success Looks Like
First 30 days:
- Audit existing HubSpot setup and document what's working and what's broken
- Fix any immediate issues with lead capture, data quality, or broken workflows
- Establish weekly reporting rhythm
First 90 days:
- Fully operational nurture sequences for both brands
- Clean CRM with accurate lead scoring and lifecycle stages
- Measurable improvement in
- Documented processes for ongoing maintenance
Hours & Compensation
- Part-time (20 hours/week) to start, with potential to grow to full-time
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
