JOB OVERVIEW

Host Communication Specialist for Short-Term Rental Property Management Company

We are a growing short-term rental property management company that manages Airbnb, VRBO, ---------- , and other vacation rental properties across the United States.

We are looking for a highly organized, excellent English-speaking **Host Communication Specialist** to help us communicate with our homeowners, solve problems, track issues, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

This role is very important. You will be helping us support property owners who trust us with their homes and their income. We need someone who is professional, calm under pressure, highly responsive, and able to think clearly when problems come up.

## Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

* Communicating with homeowners through text, messaging apps, email, and sometimes phone calls
* Responding to homeowners quickly and professionally during your shift
* Making sure no homeowner waits more than 30 minutes for a response while you are working
* Understanding homeowner questions, concerns, or issues and helping find the right solution
* Creating and tracking tickets inside Airtable or other task management tools
* Making sure every important issue is properly documented and followed up on
* Coordinating with the operations team when a homeowner issue involves cleaning, maintenance, guest communication, pricing, onboarding, or another department
* Following up until issues are fully resolved
* Escalating urgent or sensitive issues to the correct manager when needed
* Keeping communication clear, organized, and professional at all times

* You are comfortable communicating with U.S.-based homeowners
* You can think critically and logically through problems
* You do not just “pass messages along.” You help find solutions
* You have a strong sense of urgency
* You are highly accountable and do what you say you will do
* You are consistent with documentation and ticket tracking
* You are comfortable using tools like Airtable, Google Workspace, messaging platforms, and task systems
* You are willing and able to speak with homeowners on the phone when needed
* You are reliable, responsive, and detail-oriented

Experience That Would Be Helpful

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

* Short-term rental property management
* Airbnb, VRBO, ---------- , or Hospitable
* Guest or host communication
* Customer support
* Property management
* Airtable
* Google Sheets
* WhatsApp, Slack, Google Chat, or similar tools
* Ticket tracking systems
* U.S.-based client communication

You do not need to know every tool already, but you must be tech-savvy and able to learn quickly.
