Part-time, approximately 20 hours/week | Monday–Friday, GMT or EST business hours | Base + commission
We are seeking a true hospitality growth specialist who can do two things well: maximize weekend revenue, and win new small-group bookings for weekdays.
This is a hands-on commercial role with clear revenue accountability. It is not a pricing-analyst, general marketing, social media, or reservations-processing position.
Our product, mountain cabin short term rentals, are booked through the major online travel platforms (VRBO, AIRBNB, Booking.com, Expedia) and direct channels, so deep command of how those platforms really work is essential to this role.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Many people call themselves revenue managers when in reality they only adjust prices. This role requires a person who performs all of the functions of revenue management and can show the strategy behind the numbers.
Your mandate is full-cycle revenue management. You will build pricing strategy and execute it in our systems, manage our listings and promotions on the major OTA platforms, leverage our AI automations to capture gap nights, and grow ancillary revenue. You will also win new small-group B2B buyouts, for weekdays.
Working from established target audiences and approved positioning, you will find the right organizations, reach decision-makers, develop qualified opportunities, and keep prospects moving toward a reservation. The General Manager can step in for selected closing conversations; you own the prospecting, preparation, and follow-through.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
• Pricing strategy and execution: Develop pricing strategy and execute it in PriceLabs, setting and adjusting prices within the approved strategy. Monitor booking pace, occupancy, ADR, lead times, market demand, and competitive positioning. Own minimum-stay rules and their effect on yield, along with last-minute and far-out pricing logic.
• OTA channel and promotion management: Manage our listings on Vrbo, Airbnb, and Booking.com and other channels. Run promotions on the OTA calendars and manage discounts and discount stacking so that promotions lift yield rather than erode it, applying each platform's specific rules and nuances.
• Listing optimization: Perform listing optimization directly on the OTA listings to improve ranking, visibility, and conversion, including titles, descriptions, photo order, amenities, calendar and availability settings, and other platform ranking factors.
• Gap nights and ancillary revenue: Capture gap and orphan nights and grow ancillary revenue, including upsells such as early check-in and late check-out leveraging existing AI Automations.
• Group sales: Prospect within established target audiences; research organizations and decision-makers, build accurate B2B lists, execute outbound
• Pipeline ownership: Maintain accurate opportunity records, identify next steps, prepare prospects for the GM to join higher-value sales conversations, and ensure warm leads do not go cold.
• Marketing execution: Take our marketing strategy and creative and put it into market. Personally send targeted
• Commercial reporting: Meet regularly with the GM and CFO, explain what is happening with revenue goal achievement, pricing, channels, and sales, and report results in bookings, revenue, gap nights filled, and qualified pipeline, not just clicks, followers, or campaign activity.
Practical tool proficiency matters here: be ready to identify which systems you personally operated, what decisions you made in them, and how you measured the result.
REQUIREMENTS
• Hotel background: At least 4 years of professional hospitality experience inside hotels, from boutique properties to larger hotels (for example, 300+ rooms), including at least 2 years in revenue management, group sales, business development, or another commercially accountable revenue role. Hotel group-sales experience is strongly preferred.
• Deep OTA expertise (required): Deep, successful, hands-on experience with Vrbo, Airbnb, and Booking.com, including discounts, discount stacking, promotions, calendar and minimum-stay settings, and the optimization levers that drive ranking and visibility. We are looking for someone's foundation was built working in a hotel sales department and has since learned how these platforms really work.
• PriceLabs expertise (required): You have personally built and executed pricing strategy in PriceLabs, not simply reviewed reports produced by others. Experience with Beyond or comparable hotel RMS platforms is a plus.
• PMS (required): Hands-on experience with a hospitality PMS or channel manager such as Hospitable, Cloudbeds, Mews, or comparable systems.
• Revenue fundamentals: You understand ADR, occupancy, booking pace, yield management, distribution economics, minimum stays, and the difference between gross bookings and net revenue.
• Results: You have personally carried sales or revenue targets and can explain specific results, not simply describe projects you supported.
• Sales skills: You can prospect, write polished business
• Analysis: You are proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, filters, pivot tables, and revenue analysis).
• Distribution and tools: You understand online lodging distribution and discovery channels, including Google Travel / Google Hotel listings where applicable. Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar),
YOUR SETUP
Our team provides the tools and system access you will work in. You provide the experience and a professional, reliable remote office. The following are required:
• A private, quiet, dedicated workspace
• Reliable high-speed internet with a backup connection
• Reliable power with a backup solution
• A laptop in good working order, with a backup device ready if it fails
• A noise-cancelling headset and a webcam for video meetings
• Your own Google Workspace account or equivalent
HOW YOU ARE EXPECTED TO WORK
This is a self-directed role, not a position requiring daily task assignment or step-by-step training. You will be given commercial priorities, access to tools, established messaging, and support, not a manager to chase every follow-up or to upwardly delegate to you. This is function to own. Independently learn unfamiliar systems, troubleshoot routine obstacles, maintain an organized pipeline, and bring solutions and decisions to leadership rather than passing ordinary work upward. Back-office support may help execute tasks; you remain accountable for the result.
HOW PERFORMANCE IS EVALUATED
Your performance will be evaluated on profitable weekend and overall yield, gap nights captured, ancillary revenue, improvement in OTA listing rank, visibility, and conversion, incremental weekday and group bookings, qualified opportunities advancing through the pipeline, and timely execution of agreed initiatives. You will be expected to discuss progress against monthly and quarterly revenue goals, explain results, and take ownership of follow-through.
HOURS & COMPENSATION
Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, within GMT or EST business hours, with availability for at least two scheduled video meetings each week with the GM and CFO. Compensation will include a fixed base and commission linked to agreed, attributable revenue results. Specific hours, targets, and compensation will be discussed during selection.
