WellSky Home Health EMR/EHR Software Specialist (Remote)
Compensation: $7 USD per hour
Experience Required, This is not an entry-level role.

We are seeking a WellSky Home Health Software Specialist who will oversee software usage, ensure system accuracy, and educate our team to maintain consistent and compliant workflows.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This per-diem role is responsible for mastering, navigating, and managing all aspects of the WellSky Home Health software and ensuring our team understands and correctly uses the system.
The specialist will train staff, audit workflows, guide system usage, and ensure our processes align with skilled home health guidelines, including services such as PT, OT, Nursing, Wound Care, and Speech Therapy.
Applicants must already be fully trained in WellSky and able to provide certification proof.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
System Navigation & Software Expertise
Navigate all modules of WellSky Home Health with expert proficiency.
Guide staff on documentation, visit entry, workflows, care planning, scheduling, and episode management.
Ensure correct use of the platform for skilled home health services.
Team Education & Training
Train new and existing staff on how to use WellSky effectively.
Create and lead training sessions, onboarding guides, and workflow instructions.
Provide ongoing support for clinicians, intake, scheduling, QA, and administrative teams.
Ensure every tea
Workflow & Compliance Oversight
Audit documentation workflows to ensure compliance with home health guidelines and agency standards.
Ensure workflows follow proper sequencing for skilled services (PT, OT, Nursing, Wound Care, SLP).
Identify documentation or workflow gaps and provide corrective guidance.
Assist with system updates, configuration checks, and process improvements.
Support & Problem Resolution
Provide troubleshooting support for software-related issues.
Serve as the internal “go-to expert” for all WellSky questions.
Collaborate with leadership to maintain consistent and compliant system usage.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Official WellSky Home Health training completion (certificates required).
Extensive experience using WellSky Home Health in a skilled home health environment.
Familiarity with home health operations, workflows, and clinical documentation outlines.
Strong teaching, training, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and support a multi-state team remotely.
Highly organized, patient, and detail-oriented.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience training or supporting home health teams in a similar role.
Background in skilled home health operations or QA.
Experience improving workflow efficiency through system guidance.
