This is a part-time position that pays ($8 - $10 USD per hour).
We are starting with 12 hours a week, but then this will increase as we give you more hours.

We are seeking a Hiring Specialist Virtual Assistant to support our hiring and employee engagement efforts. We are based in the USA. Once you're hired, you will play a key part in helping us find, interview, and onboard top talent, as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing team through regular check-ins and support. We are looking for someone who can help us find and recruit people that we can hire in the Philippines.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience with recruitment processes, and a genuine interest in building positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
-We will tell you what kind of talent we are looking for. For example, we will tell you we are looking for a video editor. We will ask that you create a job description with us. Then you will monitor the applicants, review their resumes, and help us select which candidates to interview. You will help conduct some interviews.
- After the person is hired, you will help us organize the basic hiring paperwork that we collect so we stay organized. You will also check in with them to provide them with basic human resources training (how to clock their hours, etc.).
- Keep records of the things that we need you to do.
-Talent Sourcing & Recruitment
-Assist in creating and posting job descriptions across job boards and platforms
-Search for, source, and screen potential candidates based on role requirements
-Review resumes and shortlist qualified candidates
-Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates and hiring managers
-Conduct initial screening interviews (phone or video)
-Maintain and update candidate tracking systems and hiring pipelines
Interview & Hiring Support
-Prepare interview questions and evaluation templates
-Collect interview feedback and assist in candidate evaluation
-Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
-Assist with offer coordination and onboarding documentation
-Employee Check-Ins & People Support
-Conduct regular employee check-ins to gather feedback and identify concerns
-Track employee engagement, satisfaction, and basic performance updates
-Assist with onboarding checklists and follow-ups for new hires
Administrative & Reporting
-Maintain confidential employee and candidate records
-Create simple hiring and engagement reports
-Support HR-related tasks as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-Experience as a Virtual Assistant, HR Assistant, Recruiter, or similar role with at least 5 years of experience
-Comfortable conducting interviews and professional conversations
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
-Familiarity with recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Upwork, etc.)
