JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an experienced e-commerce video editor to join our growing dog health brand.

This is not a basic editing role. We need someone who understands direct-response advertising and can help research ideas, develop concepts, improve scripts, and turn them into engaging video ads.

You should be creative, tech-savvy, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where ideas and priorities may change.

What You’ll Do:
Edit direct-response ads for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Turn raw footage, scripts, and rough ideas into engaging e-commerce ads
Research competitors, customer reviews, and current ad trends
Develop fresh concepts, marketing angles, and visual hooks
Write or improve scripts, hooks, and on-screen text
Edit UGC, testimonials, problem-solution ads, and product-focused videos
Create multiple variations for creative testing
Collaborate with strategists, editors, and other teammates
Apply feedback quickly and help improve our creative process

What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience editing e-commerce video ads
Strong understanding of direct-response advertising
Ability to research and develop concepts—not just follow instructions
Good understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, buyer psychology, and visual storytelling
Comfortable using modern editing software and AI production tools
Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively
Able to handle a fast-paced environment and quick turnarounds
Open to feedback, willing to learn, and able to adapt when creative direction changes
Pet, health, or supplement brand experience is a plus

This is not a junior position or a general social-media editing role.

Trial Period

The role will begin with a one-month paid trial period. There will be opportunities to increase your hours and pay based on your performance.

Qualified applicants may also be asked to complete a short paid sample video for our pet brand. This will help us evaluate your editing, research, scripting, and creative thinking.

Pay: $700 USD/month for approximately 20 hours per week. One-month paid trial, with opportunities for increased pay and hours based on performance.
