JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled video editor capable of managing a high-volume workload without compromising quality. The ideal candidate must be able to edit up to 14 videos within a 3-day period, videos no longer that 90 seconds, while delivering thoughtful, polished work on each individual project. We are not looking for rushed edits—we are looking for someone who can efficiently handle volume while maintaining a high creative standard.

Our content focuses on luxury pool construction and high-end backyard environments. Footage is captured in S-Gamut3.Cine color mode with Cine4 gamma, and editors must be proficient in accurately transforming this footage into Rec.709-A.

Footage is delivered in a mix of 1080p and 4K. The editor must have proven experience upscaling 1080p footage to 4K in a way that enhances overall image quality and consistency across deliverables.

Creatively, we are looking for someone who is driven, detail-oriented, and eager to push beyond standard editing norms. The ideal editor can:

* Create engaging, modern edits that stand out from typical industry content
* Integrate graphics and 3D text elements including placing text behind subjects when appropriate
* Apply visually compelling B-roll effects that enhance storytelling without becoming distracting

Additionally, the editor must be experienced in working with DJI M-Log footage and able to properly convert it to Rec.709-A using the appropriate DJI LUTs.

This role requires both technical precision and creative ambition, with a strong understanding of color management, upscale workflows, and cinematic storytelling.
