JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary

The Healthcare Operations Analyst supports the daily operations of our medical offices and specialty pharmacy by analyzing workflows, improving processes, and tracking key performance metrics. This position works closely with leadership, providers, pharmacy staff, and administrative teams to improve efficiency, patient care, and overall business performance.

Responsibilities
Analyze and improve office and pharmacy workflows.
Track operational and financial performance using reports and data.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient experience.
Assist with pharmacy operations, including prescription workflow and inventory monitoring.
Monitor prior authorization and reimbursement trends.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist with special projects and new operational initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with providers, pharmacy staff, billing, and management teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in a medical office, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
Dermatology, rheumatology, oncology, or specialty medical practice.
Specialty pharmacy operations.
Prior authorizations, insurance billing, and reimbursement.
Experience with EHR and pharmacy management software
