About the Role
We’re looking for a Head of Supply Chain & Sourcing to own our end-to-end supply chain across a fast-scaling DTC e-commerce business.
This is a commercial, operational, and strategic leadership role, not a coordination role. You will own sourcing, supplier negotiations, product development communication, inventory strategy, logistics, and cost control across our entire product portfolio.
Your goal is simple:
Protect margin, ensure product availability, reduce risk, and build a scalable supply chain system that grows with the business.
You will work closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Product to align inventory, sourcing, and production decisions with demand planning, launches, and cashflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Leadership
- Source, vet, and onboard manufacturers via Alibaba and other B2B platforms
- Lead factory negotiations on pricing, MOQs, payment terms, lead times, and production capacity
- Build and maintain multi-supplier strategies to reduce risk and improve cost leverage
- Own supplier performance, quality standards, and long-term partnerships
Product Development & Production Ownership
- Lead product development communication with factories, including specifications, samples, packaging, and production readiness
- Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept through mass production and fulfillment
- Coordinate with Marketing and Product to align production with launches and promotions
Inventory, Logistics & Fulfillment Strategy
- Own rolling inventory forecasts, reorder points, and weeks-of-cover planning
- Manage international freight, customs, tariffs, and 3PL relationships
- Track shipments, resolve delays, and optimize logistics costs and delivery times
- Ensure accurate stock allocation across Shopify, Amazon (FBA), and other channels
Commercial & Financial Ownership
- Own COGS and landed cost modeling across products and suppliers
- Partner with Finance on inventory-driven cashflow planning and PO scheduling
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives across sourcing, production, and logistics
Systems, Process & Scale
- Build and improve forecasting, inventory, and supplier performance systems
- Develop SOPs for sourcing, purchasing, production tracking, and logistics
Who We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- Proven experience in supply chain leadership, sourcing, or operations for e-commerce or consumer products
- Hands-on experience sourcing manufacturers on Alibaba or B2B platforms
- Strong track record of negotiating with factories on price, MOQs, payment terms, and lead times
- Experience managing product development communication and production cycles
- Strong understanding of COGS, landed cost, freight economics, and cashflow impact
- Experience working with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and international shipping
- Highly organized, commercial-minded, and comfortable owning numbers and decisions
- Experience with Shopify, Amazon FBA, and multi-channel inventory management
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Prediko or inventory planning tools
- Experience supporting high-volume DTC brands
- Experience building or managing remote operations teams
Work hours: 10am to 6pm Manila Time, with calls every Monday and Friday nights (10pm MNL)
