We are hiring a Head of Delivery to take full ownership of our web and multi-channel marketing delivery operations in the fast-moving legal industry.
This is a senior leadership role. You will be responsible for protecting delivery quality, client satisfaction, timelines, and team performance — while freeing the founder from day-to-day operational oversight.
This is not a task management role.
This is an ownership role.
Mission of the Role
Own all client delivery across the organisation and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality — while leading and developing our remote delivery team. You will act as the operational shield between clients and the founder.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery Ownership
• Full accountability for all web builds and marketing delivery projects
• Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met
• Proactively identify risks and resolve them before they escalate
• Protect margin by controlling scope and resourcing
2. Client Leadership
• Primary delivery point of contact for clients
• Lead client calls and provide strategic delivery updates
• Manage expectations and handle difficult conversations professionally
• De-escalate issues independently without founder involvement
3. Team Leadership
• Lead and manage:
• Delivery Manager
• Project Coordinators
• Designers, Developers, Media Buyers, Writers
• Run weekly sprint planning and delivery meetings
• Enforce accountability across the team
• Improve delivery standards and processes
4. Operational Systems
• Oversee Agile sprint management and backlog prioritisation
• Forecast team capacity 30–60 days in advance
• Improve onboarding, QA, and reporting processes
• Build documentation and delivery playbooks
5. Reporting & Performance
• Provide weekly delivery dashboard including:
• Client health
• Timeline adherence
• Capacity utilisation
• Margin visibility
• Risks & escalations
You own delivery performance.
Required Experience
• 6+ years managing complex web and digital marketing delivery
• Proven experience leading remote, multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience being the primary client-facing delivery lead
• Strong commercial awareness — understands margin, scope control, and resource allocation
• Comfortable pushing back on clients when required
Technical Literacy (Essential)
You must understand how digital systems work under the hood, including:
• Website architecture, CMS, hosting, APIs, integrations
• QA processes, staging vs production environments
• Deployment workflows and troubleshooting
• Paid ads funnels, tracking pixels, CRM workflows
• Multi-channel marketing systems
You do not need to code — but you must understand the mechanics.

• Asana / Jira / Trello / similar PM systems
• Slack / Zoom
• CRM & marketing automation platforms
• Reporting dashboards
Remote Leadership Requirements
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Confident leading calls with senior stakeholders
• Proven track record leading distributed teams across time zones
