We support organizations in every stage of growth—from HR audits and compliance reform to payroll transitions, benefits setup, and system implementations.
As we expand internationally, we are seeking an experienced HRIS Implementation Project Manager to lead and manage HR technology projects for our clients using platforms such as UKG, ADP, Paycor, and Paylocity.
Role Overview
This is a fully remote role responsible for managing end-to-end HRIS implementation projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on project manager who can work independently, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure successful system configuration, testing, and go-live for each client engagement.
You will partner directly with client HR teams, software vendors, and internal CGC consultants to deliver efficient, compliant, and fully functional HRIS environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Implementation
Lead full-cycle HRIS implementation projects across multiple platforms (UKG, ADP, Paycor, Paylocity, etc.).
Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure on-time, accurate delivery.
Manage all phases—discovery, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Coordinate with client leadership and vendor support teams to resolve issues quickly.
Maintain documentation, change logs, and implementation playbooks for each client.
Client & Vendor Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during HRIS projects.
Conduct discovery sessions and requirement-gathering workshops with stakeholders.
Partner with HR, payroll, benefits, and IT departments to align workflows.
Liaise with software vendors to ensure system alignment with client needs.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Develop and execute test scripts for payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and data imports.
Validate data integrity and troubleshoot configuration errors.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training documentation.
Post-Implementation Support
Oversee transition to client HR teams post-go-live, including handover documentation.
Provide stabilization support and ensure issue resolution within SLA.
Conduct lessons-learned sessions to improve future implementations.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing HRIS or payroll implementations.
Proven hands-on experience with UKG (Pro/WFM), ADP (Workforce Now/Run), Paycor, or Paylocity implementations.
Deep understanding of HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance workflows.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience working in a consulting or multi-client environment preferred.
PMP, HRIP, or HRIS-related certification a plus.
