Job Description: HR Quality Assurance Specialist (Training & Clinical Support)
Children’s Advocate Behavioral Health Clinic
Position Overview
Children’s Advocate is seeking a highly reliable, (degree preferred) detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support our growing behavioral health team. This role ensures that Therapist Mentors deliver high-quality clinical sessions, follow established policies and procedures, and maintain accurate data collection and documentation.
The QA Specialist plays a key role in training, development, observation, and compliance, and must maintain professional boundaries while providing corrective guidance when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development Oversight
Support ongoing training of Therapist Mentors.
Ensure mentors follow clinical protocols, program expectations, and data collection requirements.
Provide real-time coaching, redirection, or clarification as needed.
Clinical Quality Assurance
Observe therapy sessions (in-person or via video) to monitor accuracy, performance, and session integrity.
Video-record clinical trials and submit them for review with the Clinical Director.
Provide feedback to mentors to improve intervention quality, professionalism, and compliance.
Ensure all session notes, DAP notes, and data-entry tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain high-quality records, checklists, and observation logs.
Conduct weekly accuracy audits on documentation and mentor performance.
Support adherence to all clinic policies and professional standards.
Professional Conduct
Maintain neutrality and professionalism — this is not a social role.
Uphold confidentiality, clinical boundaries, and ethical standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher (Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Nursing, Education, or related field preferred).
Experience working in counseling, therapy, behavioral health, or clinical settings with children.
Experience with play therapy, child development, or child-centered interventions is a strong plus.
Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
Ability to provide corrective feedback professionally and confidently.
Comfortable using video recording tools and digital documentation systems.
Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
Compensation
Training Rate: $5.00 per hour (U.S. currency)
Training Duration: 30–60 days
Regular Role Rate: $6.00–$8.00 per hour
Bonuses: Available for 100?curacy in documentation and quality assurance
This role pays for productivity (time actively completing assigned tasks × hours worked).

12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday Shifts (as needed based on client volume):
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
