HR & People Ops Assistant
Remote – Philippines • Independent Contractor

Reports To: Business & Admin Director
Hours: Must overlap with US business hours (PST to EST)

About the Role

Express Chipping, Inc. is a leading provider of concrete chipping, silo cleaning, and plant maintenance services in the ready-mix and cement industries. As a high-growth company with 60 employees and approximately $10 million in annual revenue, we need sharp, reliable people keeping things running behind the scenes.

As our HR & People Ops Assistant, you’ll work directly alongside our Business & Admin Director to keep our HR function organized and on track. You’re the person who makes sure records are accurate, deadlines are met, and nothing falls through the cracks.

What You’ll Do

Maintain and organize employee and contractor records, ensuring files are complete and up to date

Build and manage HR meeting agendas, take notes, and track action items to completion

Send reminders and follow up with tea ---------- mbers on outstanding HR tasks

Keep ClickUp boards updated with accurate task statuses and owners

Draft, format, and proofread HR documents, templates, memos, and SOPs

Assist in coordinating with our external HR agency — sending materials, tracking responses, and organizing communications

What We’re Looking For

2+ years in an HR admin, people ops, or virtual assistant role

Exceptionally organized — you track details, follow through, and don’t need reminding

Comfortable working in ClickUp and Microsoft Office

Clear, professional written communication in English

Reliable and responsive during US business hours

Nice to Have

Experience supporting HR teams or HR agencies

Background in field services, construction, or logistics
