JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly capable Finance & HR Operations Manager to establish, oversee, and streamline our corporate and human resource operations in the Philippines. This is a critical, dual-responsibility role. You will lead the legal and regulatory setup of our new entity, implement our local payroll and HR framework, ensure strict tax compliance with the BIR, and manage the year-end audit process.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong HR and corporate governance background.

Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Setup & Financial Compliance

Entity Registration: Lead the end-to-end corporate registration process with relevant government agencies (SEC, Local Government Units/LGUs, and BIR).

Tax Administration: Oversee corporate tax structuring, prepare accurate monthly/quarterly filings, and ensure 100% compliance with local tax regulations.

Audit & Bookkeeping: Maintain clean, audit-ready financial records and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.

2. HR Operations & Payroll

Payroll & Benefits: Establish and manage the monthly payroll pipeline, including the processing of mandatory statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

Labor Compliance: Draft localized employment contracts and ensure company policies align with Philippine Labor Laws.

Onboarding Support: Act as the local point of contact for new hires regarding HR compliance, documentation, and benefits enrollment.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Human Resource Management. A valid CPA license or an HR certification is highly preferred.

Experience: 4+ years of experience managing business setups, corporate taxation, and payroll operations in the Philippines.

Regulatory Expertise: Deep working knowledge of the BIR, SEC, and Philippine labor standards.

Tools: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero or QuickBooks) and modern payroll platforms.

Attributes: High level of integrity, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously with cross-border leadership.
