JOB OVERVIEW

ReloCovered is a U.S.-based temporary housing company that helps families find furnished housing when they are displaced from their homes due to fire, water damage, insurance claims, renovations, and other covered losses.

We are looking for an **experienced Temporary Housing Placement Coordinator** who understands the insurance relocation and corporate housing industry.

**This position is specifically for candidates with temporary housing, corporate housing, insurance relocation, ALE, leasing, or similar housing-placement experience.**

### Responsibilities

* Manage temporary housing requests from initial intake through completed placement
* Review each family's housing requirements, location, budget, move-in date, pets, bedrooms, school needs, and other requirements
* Source appropriate furnished and unfurnished properties
* Contact landlords, property managers, real estate agents, and property owners
* Verify availability and property details
* Negotiate rental rates, deposits, lease terms, utilities, furnishings, and extensions
* Present housing options for approval
* Communicate with insurance relocation companies, adjusters, policyholders, landlords, and agents
* Follow up consistently until the housing placement is approved and secured
* Coordinate rental applications and screening through approved secure systems
* Prepare and coordinate lease documentation
* Coordinate move-in details
* Manage lease extensions when additional temporary housing is required
* Maintain accurate notes and status updates for every housing case
* Protect confidential company pricing, negotiated rates, client information, and business margins
* Work closely with ReloCovered management to successfully complete placements

### Experience We Are Looking For

**Strong preference will be given to applicants who have previously worked for:**

* Temporary housing companies
* Insurance relocation companies
* Corporate housing companies
* ALE / Additional Living Expense housing providers
* Property insurance claims organizations
* Furnished housing companies
* Relocation companies
* Mid-term rental companies

Experience working with insurance adjusters, displaced policyholders, landlords, real estate agents, and property managers is highly preferred.

Existing experience or relationships within the **insurance temporary-housing industry** is a major advantage.

### You Should Be Able To:

* Understand how an insurance temporary-housing placement works from beginning to end
* Speak confidently with U.S. landlords, agents, adjusters, and clients
* Negotiate rental terms professionally
* Search quickly for properties that meet specific housing requirements
* Manage multiple active housing placements simultaneously
* Follow up aggressively and professionally
* Keep every case organized and documented
* Work independently and solve problems
* Communicate clearly in written and spoken English
* Maintain strict confidentiality regarding pricing and client information

### Ideal Candidate

We are especially interested in someone who has **already worked inside the temporary housing / insurance relocation industry** and can bring real-world knowledge of how placements are handled.

We do not want to train someone from zero on what temporary housing is.

We want someone who understands the industry and can help ReloCovered grow its housing-placement operation.
