JOB OVERVIEW

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HARO Link-Building Assistant to support our brand visibility efforts in the competitive US real estate and mortgage industry. This role combines strategic outreach, relationship building, and digital marketing to boost our online presence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Media List Creation & Management

Research and build a segmented, up-to-date media list of journalists, bloggers, and influencers based on niche and publication relevance
Organize contacts by beat, publication, engagement status, and response likelihood
Regularly update and clean the media database

2. Social Media Prospect Nurturing

Follow and engage with journalists, bloggers, and key ---------- on platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
Like, comment, and share relevant posts to build rapport before outreach

3. HARO & Journalist Query Management

Monitor HARO, Qwoted, and other journalist query platforms
Craft timely, well-researched pitches on behalf of our subject matter experts
Track submissions, wins, and response rates

4. Reddit, Quora, and Forum Engagement

Participate in relevant discussions on platforms like Reddit, Quora, and niche forums
Provide value-driven answers and subtly promote our brand where appropriate
Monitor reputation and flag any trending or sensitive topics related to our niche

5. Directory Submissions & Profile Listings

Identify high-authority and relevant directories for the brand
Create and manage consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone) listings
Ensure all submissions are optimized and properly categorized

6. Reporting & Coordination

Maintain weekly reports of outreach activities, responses, placements, and pending follow-ups
Collaborate with the content, SEO, and social media teams to align messaging and strategy
Use tools like BuzzStream, ---------- , HARO, and spreadsheets to manage workflows

Who We're Looking For:

Relevant Experience: 1-2 years (or strong transferable skills)
Strong written communication skills and a knack for personalized, persuasive outreach
Comfortable with social media platforms and basic engagement strategies
Experience with Reddit/Quora/forum etiquette
Highly organized and detail-oriented – You love keeping things in order
Tech-savvy – Comfortable using or learning Digital PR and Marketing Tools
Proactive and self-motivated – You don't wait for instructions; you take initiative
Up for the challenge – We want someone who thrives, not just gets by
