GROWTH WRITER

Remote | Part-time to full-time

WHY WORK WITH US

We are a growing, bootstrapped SaaS company serving thousands of Shopify merchants.

You will own the content that builds our authority: blog articles, LinkedIn posts, customer emails, and the presence that makes merchants trust us before they ever install our app.

This is not a role where you wait for a brief and fill in the blanks. We are looking for someone who can learn a technical domain, d ---------- what is worth writing about, and produce original, credible content without needing everything handed to them. If we have to spell out every article for you, the role has no point.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Your job is to keep our content consistent, credible, and actually relevant to what our product does.

- Write blog posts, starting from your own keyword research into topics genuinely relevant to our product and its space, not generic filler chosen to hit a word count

- Write LinkedIn posts for the company account, and posts for leadership to review and share

- Write the weekly email to our customers and subscribers

- Represent us helpfully in relevant online communities, contributing real value under your own name with your affiliation disclosed, rather than posting like a spammer

- Tune up lifecycle marketing flows such as onboarding emails

- Write the content side of partnerships (guest posts, co-marketing pieces) when a deal calls for it

- Ground your writing in original insight about what our customers actually struggle with, instead of regurgitating generic AI output

WHAT GOOD PERFORMANCE LOOKS LIKE

Content ships consistently without anyone chasing it. The topics are ones our customers would actually search for, the writing is accurate about a technical product, and readers come away trusting us. Over time you need less direction, not more.

REQUIREMENTS

- Excellent written English with a clear, credible, non-fluffy voice

- Able to learn a technical domain and write about it accurately without a subject expert walking you through every detail

- Strong research skills, including keyword research that reflects real search intent

- Able to work independently and own consistency rather than waiting for briefs

- Comfortable learning new software quickly

- Reliable internet connection

PREFERRED

- Experience writing for a SaaS or technology company

- Familiarity with the Shopify or e-commerce ecosystem

- Experience with SEO content and keyword research tools

- Experience writing for LinkedIn or executive ghostwriting

SCHEDULE

Remote. Hours flexible, with reliable overlap with U.S. Pacific Time business hours. Exact working hours will be discussed during the interview.
