JOB OVERVIEW

Marketing Mindset is looking for an experienced, hands-on marketer to take ownership of our paid acquisition and help us turn a mature product into a growing business. Part-Time job with flexible hours.

This is not a task-execution marketing role.

We are looking for someone who thinks before they execute: someone who considers the target audience, challenges weak ideas, develops campaign hypotheses, understands the commercial objective behind the work, and uses results to d ---------- what to do next.

About Marketing Mindset

Marketing Mindset is a new marketing education and execution platform built for entrepreneurs, marketers, consultants and professionals who want to improve their marketing capabilities and put what they learn into practice.

The platform combines:

Marketing courses and practical learning
Interactive exercises and activities
Marketing execution and productivity tools
AI-assisted features
Expert and consultant access
Professional profiles and Talent Hub
Community and collaboration features

The platform is already substantially built. We are moving from a product-development-heavy stage into customer acquisition, validation and growth.

Our immediate challenge isn't building more features. It's finding the right audiences, messages and acquisition channels that can turn the product into a sustainable business.

What we need

We're primarily looking for someone with advanced practical experience with Google Ads and Meta/Facebook Ads.

You should be comfortable owning the process from:

Audience → hypothesis → message → creative → campaign → landing page → measurement → iteration

We don't want to provide a list of ads and have someone mechanically build them.

For example, if we say:

“We want to attract small-business owners who need to become better at marketing.”

We expect you to think about who specifically we should target, what problem matters to them, what message could get their attention, which channel is appropriate, what landing page they should see, how much we should spend testing it, and what evidence would tell us whether the hypothesis worked.

And if our original idea is bad, we expect you to tell us.

Responsibilities

Your main focus will be paid customer acquisition through Google Ads and Meta Ads, including campaign strategy and structure, keyword/audience research, targeting, copywriting, creative concepts, testing, optimization and performance analysis.

You'll also help develop our positioning and advertising messages for different customer segments and recommend changes to landing pages when the advertising data suggests they are needed.

Ideally, you can also create good advertising images/creatives yourself using tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Canva or similar. You don't need to be a dedicated graphic designer, but you should understand visual hierarchy, simplicity, ad creative principles and how people actually consume advertising in a feed.

We already have support for lower-level communication and routine marketing activities, so this role should concentrate primarily on acquisition, creative thinking and decision-making.

What we're specifically looking for

We'd like someone who:

Has substantial hands-on experience managing Google Ads
Has substantial hands-on experience managing Meta/Facebook Ads
Understands conversion tracking, attribution, CAC/CPA, ROAS and funnel metrics
Can create and systematically test different audiences, propositions and creative hypotheses
Can write strong advertising copy
Ideally can create advertising graphics independently
Understands landing-page conversion and can identify obvious CRO problems
Thinks commercially rather than optimizing vanity metrics
Can distinguish cheap traffic from valuable traffic
Is comfortable working with an early-stage product where some experiments will fail
Can work independently with relatively little supervision
Understands Google Analytics and Clarity

Most importantly, we're looking for judgment.

We want someone who naturally asks:

Who are we actually trying to reach?
Why would this person care?
What problem are we solving for them?
Does this message accurately represent the product?
What behavior will this campaign attract?
Why should this experiment work?
What would prove that our hypothesis is wrong?

We value someone who says “I don't think we should do this, and here's why” more than someone who quickly completes every task they're given.

What this role is NOT

This isn't primarily a social-media posting position.

We aren't hiring based on how many posts you can produce per week, and we're not interested in generating activity simply to keep marketing busy.

Likewise, task → execute → next task isn't the working style we're looking for.

We want someone capable of taking increasing ownership of marketing decisions so that the founders don't need to define every audience, campaign concept, headline and experiment beforehand.

Current objectives

Our near-term priorities are to:

1. Find repeatable paid acquisition channels.
Determine which combinations of audiences, messages, products and channels can acquire qualified users economically.

2. Develop strong positioning.
Test how different audiences respond to Marketing Mindset as a learning platform, marketing execution platform, combination of education + execution, and other positioning hypotheses.

3. Build a systematic creative-testing process.
We want to test fundamentally different propositions and concepts rather than simply producing dozens of cosmetic variations of the same advertisement.

4. Improve conversion.
Advertising doesn't end with the click. We want someone who pays attention to what happens on the landing page and through registration/purchase.

5. Learn quickly.
At this stage, an unsuccessful experiment that gives us a clear answer can be valuable. We want disciplined experimentation rather than pretending every campaign must succeed.

Working arrangement

This is initially a part-time position, approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on experience and availability.

Remote work is fine.

We're particularly interested in experienced marketers who prefer a smaller number of hours with substantial autonomy rather than a junior full-time execution role.

There is potential for the role to grow as Marketing Mindset's customer acquisition scales.

Application

Please don't send us only a generic CV or portfolio.

Along with your application, briefly answer these questions:

1. Tell us about a Google Ads or Meta Ads campaign where your initial hypothesis turned out to be wrong. How did you recognize it, and what did you change?

2. Give an example of a marketing idea you d ---------- not to execute. Why?

3. When you're given a new product and told “we need customers,” what are the first things you want to understand before creating campaigns?

4. Which parts of the creative process can you handle yourself — copy, concepts, static images, video, landing pages, etc.?

5. Give us one example where optimizing for clicks, engagement or another apparently positive metric would actually have been the wrong business decision.
