This role is for a marketing operator who can think and execute.
You will co-own planning and follow-through. You won’t be handed vague instructions or asked to “just post.” You will be expected to propose a strategy, build weekly plans, manage contractors (paid ads + design), and ship consistently.
The core mission

Responsibilities
1) Strategy + Planning (weekly/monthly)
Translate the founder's vision into a weekly marketing plan
Propose campaign angles, offers, and messaging tests
Build a simple quarterly roadmap (themes, campaigns, key milestones)
Identify what’s aligned vs. not aligned with the brand voice and goals.
2) Execution Ownership
Ensure marketing progresses each week without bottlenecks.
Launch/iterate campaigns, landing pages, creative, and follow-up sequences
Maintain a steady creative/testing cadence (refreshes, new hooks, variations)
3) Lead Gen Performance Management
Coordinate and oversee Meta + Google (either you run them or you manage our ads specialist)
Track performance and make decisions based on data (CPL, lead quality, conversion rate)
Optimize weekly based on results (not “set it and forget it”)
4) Contractor / Team Management
Manage a paid ads specialist and a designer (and other freelancers as needed)
Write clear briefs, set deadlines, and review deliverables.
Maintain brand consistency and quality control across all assets
5) Reporting + Accountability
Provide a weekly scorecard that includes:
Leads + cost per lead
Lead quality notes
Conversion metrics (lead ? scheduled call ? intake)
What shipped this week
What’s planned next week + what you need from the founder (if anything)
Requirements
3+ years in growth marketing / performance marketing / marketing ops
Comfortable making strategic recommendations (not just doing tasks)
Strong project management and communication
Experience working with US-based brands, agencies, or service businesses
Ability to keep creative standards high (no generic template marketing)
Bonus (nice to have):
