JOB OVERVIEW

# Growth Lead / Growth Hacker for Boost

## About Boost

Boost is building an ecosystem of tools and training for independent restaurants, coffee shops, and foodservice operators.

Boost Back Office is already launched. It helps restaurant owners better understand and manage the operational numbers behind their business, including inventory, COGS, recipe costing, menu profitability, ordering, and related back-office workflows.

Boost Academy is launching soon. It will provide practical, framework-based training for restaurant owners and operators, helping them understand their numbers, improve profitability, and run stronger businesses. Academy will also serve as the top of the funnel for Boost Back Office and, eventually, Boost Front Office.

We are looking for someone who can help turn Boost Academy into a repeatable growth engine.

## Role Overview

We are hiring a Growth Lead / Growth Hacker to own the direction, testing, and execution of our growth strategy across paid ads, organic social, founder-led content, funnels, and conversion paths.

This is not a generic social media role. We need someone who thinks in terms of offers, hooks, CAC, conversion rates, creative testing, funnel leaks, retargeting, and revenue. The goal is not just to post content. The goal is to help us acquire Academy customers, grow the community, and move the right customers into Boost Back Office.

You will work directly with the founder, who will provide the subject-matter expertise, product vision, frameworks, and raw content. You will help turn that into a measurable acquisition system.

## What You’ll Own

* Paid social direction, especially Meta and other channels where restaurant owners can be reached
* Organic social direction across relevant platforms
* Content strategy for founder-led videos, interviews, course clips, and educational content
* Ad creative strategy and creative briefs
* Landing page and funnel improvement recommendations
* Lead magnet, webinar, workshop, and low-ticket offer testing
* Retargeting strategy for viewers, leads, Academy buyers, and Back Office prospects
* Email nurture direction
* Weekly growth reporting
* Identifying what is working, what is not working, and what should be tested next

## You Are a Good Fit If You

* Have experience growing a product, course, SaaS, community, agency, or expert-led business
* Understand paid acquisition and organic content strategy
* Can work with founder-led content and turn expertise into marketable assets
* Think in terms of testing, not guessing
* Can look at a business and quickly identify the highest-leverage growth opportunities
* Are comfortable creating structure in an early-stage environment
* Can manage yourself without constant direction
* Can tell the difference between vanity metrics and actual business growth
* Are willing to challenge weak ideas and explain your reasoning clearly
* Can work with a producer/editor to turn strategy into publishable assets
* Are a self-starter and don't need to rely on me to tell you what to do every day

## What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means we are learning quickly, improving the funnel, and building a repeatable acquisition engine.

Key metrics may include:

* Cost per lead
* Cost per Academy customer
* Academy landing page conversion rate
* Academy revenue from paid and organic channels
* Email opt-in rate
* Academy customer quality
* Academy-to-Back-Office conversion rate
* Back Office demos/trials generated from Academy
* Winning ad angles identified
* Winning content topics identified
* Growth experiments completed per month

## Initial Priorities

In the first 30 days, I would expect you to help with:

* Auditing the current Boost positioning, offers, funnel, and content opportunities
* Recommending the first flagship Academy offer to advertise
* Defining the first 3–5 growth experiments
* Creating the first paid social testing plan
* Creating a simple weekly growth scorecard
* Creating briefs for the producer/editor
* Helping turn founder-led content into ads, social clips, emails, and funnel assets
* Identifying what resources are required before we scale spend

## Time and Work Expectations

I care more about effective output than hours.

That said, any hours billed to Boost must be hours actively worked for Boost. I do not want overlapping billing, double-booked work, or a situation where someone says they are working eight hours for Boost while actually splitting that same block of time across multiple clients or jobs.

I would rather pay more for fewer honest, focused hours than pay for a larger block of time that is not actually dedicated to this business.

Please be clear about your real availability, preferred working arrangement, and how many focused hours per week you can reliably commit.

## To Apply

Please do not send a generic cover letter. Instead, answer the questions below.

1. Describe your biggest career win when it comes to growing a business, course, SaaS product, community, or paid acquisition funnel. Include the starting point, what you did, what changed, and the measurable result.

2. Explain what you would do in week one to get started quickly with Boost. Be specific. I am looking for how you think, prioritize, and create ---------- ntum.

3. Explain what resources you would need to do this job that you do not have yet. This should not be a wish list, but the true requirements: access, tools, data, assets, budget, people, or information you would need to perform well.

4. Give an example of a time you had to create traction without much direction. What did you do?

5. What growth metrics would you want to see weekly for Academy and Back Office?

6. What would you want the founder to keep owning/doing, and what would you want to take off the founder’s plate?

7. How many focused hours per week can you realistically commit to Boost, and how do you handle time tracking or work logs?

8. Are you currently working with other clients or employers? If so, explain how you avoid overlapping work time and ensure billable hours are dedicated to the client being billed.

9. Share links to relevant examples, case studies, campaigns, funnels, ads, content systems, or growth work you have led.

Applications that show clear thinking, ownership, and specific examples will be prioritized.
