JOB OVERVIEW

I'm a solo founder launching a consumer iOS app on September 29. I have a day job, a graduate course load and a one-year-old. The launch plan is already written in detail — what I need is someone to own running it, and to tell me what I'm getting wrong.

This is not a VA role. You will be the second person working on this company, and the first one whose job is distribution.

What you'd own:

* Content operations (~35%) — I record raw video once a week. You cut it into 10–15 vertical shorts, caption, schedule and post across TikTok, Reels, Shorts and Facebook. The template is fixed; the judgment about hooks and packaging is yours.
* Creator operations (~35%) — find and qualify creators, maintain the pipeline, personalise outreach, follow up, coordinate collaborations, track what each one actually delivered.
* Growth experiments (~20%) — look at what is working, propose tests, kill losers fast, double down on winners. I want you bringing me ideas, not waiting for tasks.
* Growth ops (~10%) — communities, directories, podcast and newsletter research, competitor monitoring, the Friday numbers report.

Requirements:

* You edit vertical short-form in CapCut — send three examples of your own work.
* You have personally run brand or creator accounts and can point to growth you caused
* Google Sheets, Mailchimp, and at least one ad manager
* Written English strong enough to DM a creator without me editing it
* 20 hrs/week, with at least two hours overlapping US Eastern

Pay: $1,100/month for 20 hrs/week, paid semi-monthly via Wise. That is deliberately above the going rate.

Where this goes: part-time now because I'm funding it myself. If this works, it becomes full-time at a higher rate after launch. I would rather find one person and keep them than rehire in six months.
